The best way I have found to deal with anxiety is prayer, whenever I start to feel anxious and I don't really seem to know why or where it's coming from I just pray for God's protection, guidance, peace etc, I always feel better afterward, knowing that everything is out of my hands and in his control has helped me a lot over the years

It's amazing how happy and sunny you are in your corner of the interne. I can't imagine how disheartening negative comments can be, I personally have never understood the need to leave a rude comment. That's why I always post positive comments, because you never know how the person reading them is feeling that day 🤍 I'd rather my comment be a pick-me-up instead of a knock-me-down!

As a gal married to a musician, my mum had the same questions about my now-husband getting a real job 🙃 and while it’s such a stereotype that musicians are ‘poor’, and we’re certainly not wealthy, my husband has made a consistently good income and has the best work ethic of anyone I know. We all choose to do life differently and to others that might be hard to comprehend, but life is so wonderful when shared with the right people, regardless of their chosen career direction 😊 sending you much love from Australia! 💕

Awe Michel, I had a similar journey and a second marriage as well. One thing I had forgotten, as I too felt I did not deserve a second wedding or showers and such...but what I had not thought of is that my husband (fiance, at the time) had never been married. He deserved so many of those things too. The wonderful family and friends around us blessed us as if it were the first wedding for the two of us. Indeed, it was! 1000% understand if this is too personal, but I would love to see a video about the real finances and budget behind buying a house and having a wedding in the same year. How much were you able to save vs. how much you’re financing, what % down payment you had, has Jordy also been saving for a down payment/planning on buying a house like you were, etc. Had you been saving for a wedding even though you didn’t know the timing of your engagement? I’m just trying to figure out the answers to all these questions for myself lol, so anything you’d be comfortable sharing would be lovely 💕

Your energy is contagious! The anxiety coming out of nowhere happens to me, too. It can be overwhelming. Try ice on the back of your neck and deep breathing (4 in, hold for 4, 4 out!) for those episodes. They are two coping mechanisms from my therapist that help with random anxiety.

You announced you were moving forward with a divorce in Nov 2021. Filed around Jan/Feb 2022, final in April. You were still technically married when you and Jordy met. Nothing wrong with that, but that's definitely not 6 months post divorce.

@@alexistsukino9459 Generally its because they know the truth looks bad. And if they lie about this, the only question is what else do they lie about. Lying takes 3 forms, not just the overt lie. Lying by omission. Lying with extraneous irrelevant information. Like referencing Jordy's "gross income" instead of his net income, which is the only thing you can spend. He's touring alone. Oh great. A touring musician, unchaperoned. So maybe the infidelity will make up for the low income.

Good Q & A, Michel. I used to think you appeared so confident and relaxed. I realize now we were sometimes watching how good an actress you are. Today you are truly confident. And when you feel less confident and anxious, you let us know so we aren’t second guessing you. As you were putting on your makeup, I was thinking your reconstructed nose may be a contributing factor. I know you went through a lot with that surgery, but it appears to have been worth it, beautiful, lady!

I agree, it doesn't seem like those comments are coming from longtime followers or people who watch a lot of her videos. They almost sound like comments a casual friend or almost stranger would make. Obviously I'm a stranger, too LOL but I have enjoyed Michel's content for a long time and think I could have guessed at her answers about some of those questions. Some of them sounded pretty rude and although I understand curiosity, I just know I would never say those kinds of things to one of my real-life friends.

Michel, I believe the tough time you had in your previous relationship, prepared you for Jordy. You know what is unacceptable and you know what it was like being treated disrespectfully. Listening to those songs Jordy wrote for you shows his deep love and respect he has for you. Also, it shows clearly, that he will move heaven and earth, to ensure you both have a good life. listening talk about your exeperiences with anxiety, have you and/or therapist discussed the idea of emotional flashbacks. I'm a chronic ptsd survivor, and learning that emotional flashbacks was a thing was a huge step in my healing.
