Hi Melicia, I have watched your 90 day recaps for years. I don't watch the actual show but your recaps are always on point, you are always so positive & real and I learn something from you everytime I watch you on KZfaq. I subscribed to your channel as soon as you mentioned it on your last recap of 2023. As a Canadian healthcare worker who doesn't like social media, after the pandemic hit I had no social life and my mental health pretty much tanked. I've struggled with anxiety and depression for years, and your videos always put a smile on my face. I watch your recaps religiously every week. Sometimes watching you feels like chatting with a friend, and when you wave I wave right back even though you can't see lol. Just wanted to let you know that you bring joy to people out there and i hope you share more of your insight & tips with us. My question is this: you always look amazing, your fashion is always on point and i was wondering if you have a stylist or do you style yourself and is your wardrobe actually from your clothes in your closet or does ET provide the clothes you wear on camera. Sorry for asking too many questions at a time, but i would appreciate a response❤.

I remember one time when things weren't going so well behind the scene for you and you shared something with the audience about your mother on how she was encouraging you, I believe to be more kind for yourself or something along those lines, I just felt so intimate like really a bonding moment between you and the audience I loved it so much but it also caught me off guard a bit. Let me explain, I never hear other journalist do something like that but Im also not American so I could definitely miss something like that but it ties back to what you just said, you found a place of work where you can be your authentic self and get paid for it. How sad and ridiculous that an intelligent young woman like Melicia has to think about how the color of her skin affects her career in 2024. Listening to her talk about this makes me think that we haven’t made that much progress since the 1950s.
