The visa you would need to apply for in Mauritius depends on the time you would be staying and your nationality. The tourist visa is usually for 3 months and renewable for 3 more. Canadians and Americans obtain a tourist visa on arrival for 3 months.
However, if you would like to stay longer or avoid any immigration problems, apply for the Digital Nomad Visa!

* You do need to have a clear criminal record from your country of residence to apply.
* You can renew it as many times as you need.
