Mu husband and I dated for 5 months before he proposed and had a 6 month engagement because we had prayed and prayed and felt we were ready and that God gave the OK. We’ve been married a little over a year and have no regrets! I’m so happy for you and so excited to see what the Lord has in store for you two! 🤍

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the Gospel through this podcast! I’m with you on keeping the engagement short and sweet. My husband and I had a 6 month engagement and some people around us were questioning it, but my husband and I both prayed about it and knew that the 6 month engagement was right for us. Though it’s not the right way for everyone, keep enjoying your engagement season and following God’s lead. God’s blessings to you! 🤍☺️

I was nervous about taking my mom wedding dress shopping with me too bcus she’s very opinionated. But I was pleasantly surprised of how supportive she was with every dress I liked. I hope you have a great experience!! ☺️

Love what you had to say about a short engagement. My husband and I were engaged for 7 weeks and if we could have, we would have eloped. I actually think it’s more unwise to delay getting married once you are engaged because you’re inviting more temptation. The sexual temptation increases so much because you know you’re going to be marrying this person but you’re not one yet. Hot take: once you prayerfully make the decision to get engaged, get married as soon as possible. But hey, to each their own.

My husband is supposedly very allergic to cats, I have 2, I had them before we got married, so we came as a package deal, and he’s never had an issue with them. I low key don’t believe him either, so I felt that Jeanine! Get a dang cat, he will love them! 😂

Hi there I am allergic to cats but the allergy doesn't show till I sleep over in the house where cats are and then it kicks in - if I am just visiting someone's house for few hours and there,are cats the allergy doesn't really show up - so he can very well be allergic and no show symptoms till he's around cats 24-48 hours in same house! Just to clarify

On the modesty topic, what are your thoughts on posts with fitted athlesure? Especially close ups? I know it’s not showing skin but what my husband (as a man of God) sees it as also exposing one’s body bc it shows one’s complete figure (booty, frontal area) all of the above lol .. which is kind of true the more I think about it..
