This is amazing. I am just in awe. The intellect, the breadth and depth of the presentation and the implications of what is being said are mind-blowing. To answer the last point of why it's important, my feeling is that it speaks to our identity and if we don't define it someone else will and that definition will not be to our liking -- as has been the case in our recent history. I hope these ideas get incorporated in our textbooks in India and elsewhere.

Chronological evidence does matter in a big way because it’s due to lack of chronological claim that we’ve been robbed of our knowledge in fields of cosmology, mathematics, astronomy or so on and so forth. Our current or even previous generations have no idea that Indian civilisation had a significant contribution in various fields of science.

Too often Indians, including the highly educated ones, take this line: ‘Just forget about the past and get on with living the future’. I have another explanation for India and Sri Lanka being separated during 12,209 BCE, which is 14,159 BP. This year falls at the beginning of Bølling-Allerød warming, which as from 14,690 to 12,890 BP. Sir, I have a question about Kaliyug and Mahakalyug which is mentioned in Sri Madbhagvatam as 432, 000 or the Kaliyug is as Swami Sri Yukteswarji and his Guruji Baba Lahari Mahasaya has calculated as of only at 1, 200 years × 2 as the clock goes from 5 to 6 and to 7 o'clock, so 1200 + 1200 = 2, 400 years and the English needle points near Aquarius and it's other end points near the Libra in the Zodiac Constellations order, well I am living in 318 years in ascending Dwapar Yuga, anyone wants to accompany are most welcome. The 1200 and another 1200 years of Kaliyug ended in 1700 AD . Both can join to write a book titled 'Ancient Indian civilization', taking into account the latest credible researchers and surveying all important books on the subject with their comments, The subject matter may include Saraswati river civilization, Sindhu (indus) river civilization, Vedas and Upanishads etc. keeping in mind the time line. It may be logical concept of One Kaliyug is about 432000 but the human life is about to 100 years if it is devided by 100 The Kaliyug years 4320 years. On that lines we can calculate the four yugas time period. 4320+8640+12960+17280= 43200 the one circle of yugas

Great talk. Lot of good questions from the audience as well. I don't understand why the astronomical observations are taken as 100% fact while the genealogical facts are set aside. For example, if there are supposedly 30 generations between Ramayana and Mahabharata then each king would have had to rule for more than 200 years as per the proposed dates of 5500 BCE and 12000 BCE. To which the reply is that the genealogy mentions only prominent kings. But that seems a bit like selecting facts to fit a theory.

Sir, IMHO, one has to come up with better explanation for the ravikeerti sasana. we do not know how they concluded; but it was written at a time which was golden period in our astronomy maths.

What is Santana Dharma and when was it born by whom

In both Ramayana and Mahabharata there is mention of use of Iron swords. Almost no mention of using Copper and Bronze swords. This should indicate that both Ramayana and Mahabharata are post-Bronze Age civilizations. Iron smelting in India began around 1500 - 1600 BCE. Without the discovery of Iron and invention of iron smelting, human civilization did not have the wherewithal to cut down trees and move out of river valley-based civilization. While Copper, Brass and Bronze (and even wooden stick) enabled humans to till the soft river valley soil, humans required Iron and steel to cut down tree and the iron plough and dig up harder soil. In Mahabharata, we find the mention of Balarama with the iron-tipped plough teaching ploughing and tilling - almost as if humans were learning to use the iron plough for the first time.

In Ramayana, In Bala Kanda first sarga, Yuddha Kanda, in the concluding scene it is mentioned, Rama ruled the kingdom 11000 years (10000+1000). So, based on 12000 BC timeline for Ramayana, can we claim Rama was still ruling Ayodhya, during Mahabharat? I have also seen your claim that Sri Ram born in the Sharad rutu. However, as per Ramayana, it is clearly mentioned Vasanta rutu, Chaitta masam. How would you support your claim? ततो यज्ञे समाप्ते तु ऋतूनां षट्समत्ययु:। ततश्च द्वादशे मासे चैत्रे नावमिके तिथौ।।1.18.8।।

But if we look at Manu period its 71 chaturyugas and in a chatur yuga each yuga occurs twice ...so in which treta yuga of these chaturyuga did the Ramayana happened and how can there be so less difference of time between Dwapara and Treta as each Manushya varsha (year) is to be multiplied by 360 as 1 Manu varsha is eaqual to 360 deva varsha !!!!

Actually I fully agree with dating of mahabharta but dating of Ramayan is something we need more discussion. Actually now if I consider your dates as true then my complete understandings of Assyria, sumerian and their tablets.. Around 30000, are challenged... I want to imagine two things at same time.... Like one hand there are celestial weapons of mahabharta while on other hand somebody like sumerians..mesopotamia.. There are many archaeological findings which we have to compare...
