You both are so completely dear. I loved this video. I have no clue how you can talk and make sense when you are receiving that scalp massage tool. How did you end up diagnosed with misophonia? I have a friend who has it. A lot of people don't know about it

I don't know if it's something you can truly be diagnosed with unless you talk to your doctor about it and they send a referral to a specialist for a deeper study. I think it's something you just find out on your own and learn to cope with. One of my siblings has this. We often thought the reaction from the sounds we thought were common were so weird. Things that were everyday just bothered her and would drive her up a wall and, in turn, drive us crazy that she reacted so badly to them. We just happened to ask our family doctor about it and we were told that some people have this and she will need to find coping mechanisms for dealing with these sounds. She's the only person in my family that we know of who's ever had misphonia, and she's also an adult and in her 30s.

OMG. ME TOO!! I hate when someone slaps food in their mouth while I can hear them. Its like the more people can be disgusting, the more family we are so everyone acts so disgusting. Like, why does everyone want to be my family? I also HATE how my mom texts me like her bf, after the gym she will send me a picture. It is so freaking strange. She has a second husband. Maybe it spices it up for him....Ew. lol. :(
