Sonya, what you say about friendship.. I feel you so much and I feel ashamed sometimes not having close friends. But for me friendship is almost like love, just obviously without attraction, and it’s soo rare. People are not invested that much.

Thank you for sharing your long distance relationship situation. It’s very helpful what you’ve said. I am in a very similar situation right now, my bf works multiple jobs in UK and I live in Europe. We have a few plans at hand but sometimes it gets too hard and the hardest part is not to get emotional and start distrusting your partner.

It’s not easy finding good friendships, especially in LA. I moved to LA right after college and I had ppl I hung out with but I never felt like I belonged. For many years I was very alone. But eventually I met these wonderful grounded amazing women. Through these friendships I’ve learned that friendships can bring mostly joy and the ones that don’t aren’t worth your time. I’ve also learned that there is a season for everything, if I had met these woman a year before I did we would not be friends. In my alone years I had to learn a lot of self awareness to be able to nurture my current friendships. Therapy also helps a lot to bring things into perspective. And from hearing you it doesn’t seem that it’s so much about figuring your brain out but it seems more that you are hurt and disappointed and therapy might help you heal some of the wounds you have. ❤

I feel the friends thing as well, I also enjoy a good amount of alone time and have too many interest and love exploring all of them so I can easily keep myself really busy as well. So on one hand I don't mind it yet on the other I do yearn for that friendship as well, but also don't want to be a neglectful friend lol, so its gotta be a certain kind of person where you can both do your own things but when you do get time together your all in.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on friendship, Sonya! I can relate so much. I also soak up people’s energy so I purposefully isolate myself to tap into my own creativity and explore what I’m capable of. But even as an introvert, I’ve realized social connections are a fundamental human need that I’m been depriving myself of. So I’m planning to explore this further: how to build a community that actually energizes you.. it’s a tough one as an adult!! It’s comforting to know I’m not alone in this experience. ❤

@@Anonymous_starrrr I mean maybe they got back together but in her russian video she literally admitted that she sort of was delusional about him and he is wrong person for her, it sounded that she lost absolute interest in him and the topic was quite intresting actually lol I don’t remember it all but she talked in so much detail how sometimes we can be wrong about the person we date etc. don’t know what changed but hopefully she’s happy 🤷🏻‍♀️

I can relate to everything you said about friendship 🥰 I have almost no friends myself but I feel really comfortable spending time with myself. I’d rather go for a 3 hour walk instead of sitting in a cafeteria and sipping a 6 dollar coffee or a 12 dollar wine. Also, I was a late bloomer too 😉

соня, насчёт отношений - жизнь и особенно молодость очень короткая для того чтобы оставаться в тех отношениях, которые не делают тебя счастливой. прямо сейчас у тебя ещё есть широкий выбор людей твоего возраста, которые свободны, достойны тебя и могут дать тебе то что ты хочешь. с возрастом большинство из них женятся, заводят детей, стареют, да и просто чувствовать влюбленность всем становится сложнее. отношения становятся циничными и поверхностными, частично потому что именно такие люди, не способные любить, и остаются свободы. поэтому мой дурацкий и непрошеный совет - не жди и живи прямо сейчас. разреши себе иметь то что ты хочешь.

Она объяснила, что ей не нужны поверхностные отношения, а вы описали именно это. То есть просто выбрать из толпы кого-то и сказать :"вот теперь мне хорошо". Ей хорошо и одной, а разбрасываться хорошими людьми как то глупо. The no friend thing is not that complicated. You are just an INFJ or INTJ or INFP. 90% of the time you has to be left alone in order to heal, think, create, recharge... Most people just cannot have the level of deepness as you in term of feeling, perceiving and comprehending. Maintaining friendship is bad for your mental health. The 10% left is for the love of your life. So having a long distance relationship and no friendship is actually the perfect situation for you. Congratulations!

Regarding friendships, you’re just scared to get disappointed that people are not like you and you have to accept that people are who they are and you don’t have to be the same in order to be friends. Also, it would help to learn to get inspired from inspiring people. Some of us are meant to be teachers, some are students🤷🏽‍♀️

Hi Sonya, I am really looking forward to that Cilantro Hummus recipe! I make my own hummus and I love cilantro too. I actually take the time and de-skin my chickpeas, it makes a much smoother hummus.
