happy july guys x-0 I'm currently in la on a mini vacation before I head to florida for my next con. i actually regret applying for so many conventions since I haven't really gotten a good break from it all yet :'-) but I'm really excited to start working on my game again! more will be posted on my instagram in the next day or so~

i started following you because of your art but have loved watching your vlogs lately as well ❤️ one tiny suggestion i have if possible would be to separate out the captions that are different from your dialogue into different cuts with silent shots? i have a hard time reading and processing audio at the same time when they are different lol, but i really enjoyed ur video regardless! i'm excited for ur game's kickstarter in the fall!!

I love this video, i'm also a game designer student and i've started using Notion because of you! I've knew the plataform but ive never found a way to make it work for me... after seeing your point system i was inspired to use it (i dont use the point system but i've been consistent to my boards). It is kinda hard to find girl content on this specially cozy ones like yours, just love it love it love it

I remember finding this channel its such a gem and always gave off cozy vibes, I also remember commenting about asking about about this career a while back. I still don't know what I want to do after high school, I took comp sci this year and remember how excited I was to take it then ended with and 85 I felt like it wasn't for me especially since I saw kids making the class look way too easy and that's when I kinda started drifting away from wanting to be a video games designer/comp sci major, idk if I should try it again in college but all I know is I want to do something In the tech field and I feel lost.

aww wait i definitely don't think you should let 85 get to you--that's great! comparison is not great when it comes to academics because you can't really know what's going on at home (some people I know have had tutors/family members that really helped with their work/learning abilities). I hope in uni you'll find more of a path bc tbh I wasn't so sure about comp sci either going into it!

i love ur content RAGHHH also do u think nyu would like to see a portfolio that is more focused on illustrations and game concept arts but not an actual programmed game? idk if not having a finished game in the port would affect anything

I'm not sure what they ask now for the creative projects, but for my year they did ask for specifically something related to art/design and a second project related to game design. I would recommend seeing what they are asking for and if they are looking for a game maybe making something small--even something like a game mod in roblox or like a card game should suffice if you're worried about programming !!

@@shuilily thank you so much for replying!! this year they are asking for any projects but i do still see many ppl make actual games, im gonna make a portfolio of concept arts and illustrations and see how it goes!!
