Being the last driver is easy. You do the same as the one in front of you, just a lil bit faster. You have a good speed reference in front, he doesn't.

Mirage are perfect car for touge, in Malaysia we have them called as Proton Satria(Mirage Hatch) and Proton Putra(Mirage coupe) were widely used for track,street,drag and touge due to their nimble lightweight body, lighter than a Civic and cheaper too

Don't know about this case but there are people out there putting EVO parts in a Mirage, and yes, including complete drive train swaps. Some people just prefer the coupe look.
