夜の花見小路と舞妓さんを撮影いたしました。京都を感じられる素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。
Hanamikoji Street is one of the north-south streets of Kyoto City. It is the main street that passes through the center of Gion. At Shijo-dori, the atmosphere differs greatly between the north and south. Izakayas（Japanese bar restaurant） are located in the north of Shijo-dori. There are many historical teahouses and restaurants. In 2001, the undergroundization of electric wires and the maintenance of stone pavements were completed, and it was reborn as an emotional townscape.

なんと素晴らしい町並みなんでしょう、0:14あたりのシーンは一瞬映画のセットと見間違うような不思議な感覚。町全体が皓々と光る都会の灯りではなく柔らかな電灯色というか、ちょっと薄暗い中にもやすらぎを感じる光具合も素敵ですよね。個人的には2:02のゆっくり歩く舞妓さんの後ろから外国の女性の方が急いで走り去るシーンが今と昔の対比みたいな感じがしてちょっと印象的でした^^ いつも素敵な映像をありがとうございます♪

コメント、誠にありがとうございます。薄ぼんやりとした光は、今回のテーマの1つでしたのでお褒め頂きとても光栄です。夜間撮影は何も映っていないなかったという結果が怖く、くっきり、はっきり撮影してしまいがちでしたのでとても嬉しいです。ただ、少しピントが甘めでしたが（笑） 2:02のカットは山親爺様にご指摘いただき私にとってもさらに印象的なシーンになりました！！ありがとうございます！！

修学旅行で花見小路を通りました。昼だったので舞妓さんを見ることはありませんでしたが夜の花見小路と舞妓さんは本当に綺麗ですね、、、ため息が出ます。

光が効果的に映えて夜の祗園町の風情が美しく舞妓さんの歩く姿がとても綺麗です　素敵な動画をありがとうございます　冒頭ではまるで映画の時代劇のセットのような錯覚も。　しばし魅入ってしまい、私も舞妓さんになりたかったなあ～とあらためて思います。

As I remember one of the Gion rules was not to take pictures of Meiko and Geiko without asking ... everybody gets the rules send on their phones but it seems like a lot of people are ignoring it. so rude But a very beautiful video! It makes me want to go back to Kyoto again.

Yes I agree . Tourist are out of control some even try to stop these geisha and ask to take photos with them or followed them made them feel uncomfortable and senses of harassment, thing get out of hand then the local government banned all the photographs unless permits. In the year 2019 I went back to Gion and there was sign of of banning camera taking photographs of Geisha . I think this video taken maybe before the banned .

@steve gale Very appropriate. Most foreign tourists are so oblivious to the nature of the local customs and etiquette. It's mind boggling how these grown men/women think it's okay to take flash photos of these Maiko and Geikos. Good for Kyoto. Take a firm stand.

@steve gale Let me hazard to guess, that person probably came from either east or west coast of the US. A typical liberal, who he/she thinks is an educated, superior than thou attitude? So, funny. I know all about the situation with the regional dialects of East Asian countries. I would watch some Asian TV shows which shows some foreign born (white) people who settled in some countryside of a country (for i.e.) and they will speak with local regional dialect (which is perfectly fine since they learned it that way, of course) and the local people will accept him/her warmly as well because they love that he/she speaks their language and they are just fascinated, doesn't matter if it's regional or standard dialect. But, it's always the other foreigner(s) who think that's wrong, you have to speak standard one. How funny. I live in the U.S. and I am not a native English speaker either.

舞妓さんそれぞれで佇まい・歩き方に大きな違いがありますね。普通の若者のように歩く子もいれば、日本舞踊のようにキレイに歩く子もいる。様々ですね。

夜の花見小路にぴったりですね。そりゃあ外国人観光客も写真撮りたくなりますよ👍芸妓さんは下駄か草履、舞妓さんは厚底の下駄を履いているそうです。これなら見分けがつきますね。つくづく京都はいいなぁ☺️

Some people believe that they are equal with these beauties and they believe can speak or take some pics with them on the road. No.. You are not equal. These incredible ladies from very young age sacrifice all theis life and start to learn any kind of art. Any detail on theirs body is very carefully made. Anything about them is beyond imagination. If you want to respect these characters and see what they can do, go in some theatre like Miyako Odori in the spring and watch them from distance. Give them the space and the respect to show you how special human beings they are.

本当にミステリアスなところが良いよね。あと、この頃はそこまで人通りが多く無い環境での舞妓さんの日常風景。今は、様変わりで人でごった返している中での風景。どっちも良さがあるだろうけど、ひっそりしている風景での姿が合うのかな🤔人がいなさ過ぎても寂しいが😢⛩️

So beautiful, I must go to Kyoto someday. I study much about geiko, their dances, songs, coiffures, their dress, and their sisterhood (and sometimes backbiting). It's like a world apart from our own, and for a long time it was, since one could only make their acquaintance through a mutual in older times. It is more open now, and I love it. I can never get enough reading on the subject! My favorite coiffure is the Katsuyama ♥

Great video, I tried for many evening to photo Geisha but was very difficult as they moved very quickly & there where just so many tourists in the way but I'll be back hopefully when it's safe and theres flights🌟☕🎎⛩🧁🤞👍💐

@alfoncesmithe I think it’s forbidden now, to photograph Maiko or Geisha. You could call them yourself and enjoy I guess.

To people from other countries. When you see Maiko and Geiko, please don't take pictures of them. As you can see, they walk to WORK, not to entertain you. Imagine that you are surrounded by lots of cameras and iPhones on your way to your office. When in Rome, do as the Romans do. When in Kyoto, do as the Kyoto people do.

Josh Leake - Dusk to dawn - good choice on the soundtrack - I like to use it too (maybe too often ;-). The clip is - again - really great! I wonder if it would be better to mute it and to just have pictures and music? I like that you cut with the pace of the music. Are you using a gimbal?

初めまして。最近ジンバル買いまして、撮影練習してます。こちらの動画を見てると手ブレがまったく無くて、キレイな映像です。私はジンバル使ってるのに、微妙に手ブレが目立ちます。。どんな機材をお使いでしょうか？

来ましたね！、6K。暗所でも綺麗に色が出てる感じしました。ジンバルでの運用はいかがですか？・・・やっぱり重たいですかｗ？。レンズは何をお使いだったのでしょうか？。フォーカスの移動はアプリを利用されましたか？・・・質問攻めで申し訳ありません！。京都も外国人観光客さんがとても多いんですねえ。舞妓さん、とても綺麗に撮れてますね！。

コメント、誠にありがとうございます。お褒め頂きとても嬉しいです。今回は開封後、雨天、夜間撮影とやんちゃをしました（笑）ご質問いただいた件ですが、重さは特に気になりませんでしたが、パンニングに滑らかさが欠けていたので、気づかないうちに影響が出ていたかもしれません。レンズは、sigmaの18mm-35mmです。フォーカスは、Ronin-Sのフォーカスギアアクセサリーを使用しております。 yasu mizu様の新作、楽しみにしております！！

@@annafilmproduction1143 さましっかりとした理想的なシステムを組まれていますね！。フォーカスの移動をどうやって操作されたのか興味津々だったのですが、なるほどです！。重さは想定していたよりも重くなかったんですね！。このレンズ、めちゃくちゃ切れ味があって写りがいいですよね。犯人はシグマでしたかｗ！。

@@annafilmproduction1143 I am grateful for your sincere reply (and for Google Translate, since my self-taught Japanese is only at an elementary level). My hope now is to visit Japan for a month starting in November, with two weeks in Tokyo divided by two weeks using a JR Pass to travel to Kagoshima and back - saving a few days on the return trip to spend in Kyoto. Warmest wishes from the UK!

If you ask them and they give you permission you can, but if they don't or they ignore you, it's best to respect their decision and give them their space. Unfortunately some people don't understand this and resort to harassing, grabbing, or hurting the girls. It's disgusting.

Maiko in Japan are on the way to work. They don’t dress like that normally. Please be considerate before you ask them for pictures. That’s part of respect.

Es muy nostálgico por las vestimentas de las geishas pero hermoso por la combinación de diseños, colores que llevan en su ropa, la música y luces complementan y pareciera como si fuera un sueño. Hermoso video

You can get a fine now if you take photos and/or videos of maikos and geikos without permission/consent. Not only is it rude but it causes a lot of trouble for them, making them late to appointments and/or jobs.
