Lolth had 66 hit points, not 60. That apparently seems to be the cutoff point for unique fiends as Dispater's consort Lilis also had 66 hps. Also, in the module, you will see in Lolth's spell list as a 16th Cleric/ 14th Magic User that she could cast a total of 66 spells. The web stone pathways and the metal of the spider ship acted as painful punishments for the souls of chaotic evil mortals who descended to the Abyss after death and are sealed within their confines.

I ran D1-3 then party of Q1 in my last campaign. I used the Demonweb and some of the rooms off the web, but heavily modified it for my campaign. It was fun, but I agree, the demonweb map, while nice to look at is VERY difficult to keep straight while running. I did my own version of the Demonweb for printing and VTT, but even with this it was a handful. Unrelated, I love Rick's "web" background. Very nice. I always enjoy these videos, keep them coming. Thanks.

Your analysis of this being like 3 adventures crammed into one reminded me that this is the only module in the Q series. Why have a Q1 if no Q2? Same with the T series, we got T1 and then T1-4 and it wasn't what it could have been.

I think, that properly DM'd and played, Q1 should never happen. On the first encounter with Eclavdra in G3, she should cast a Flame Strike and flee to D3, leaving the Curates behind, she is, after all, Chaotic Evil. A parley with Neydylene in lvl 3 could reveal the schism, and the party could walk through D1,2 & 3 to the House of Eilservs. Despana and the others don't want direct confrontation with Eilservs, so this would be an unexpected opportunity to hit Eilservs, after which, they would try to take out the party. D3 should be an escape module. Now, on the way back through the Underdark, the encounters that were once skipped are in play. In G1, the mission was to take out those behind the giant incursions, which is not Despana and friends.

Release date?

That D&D movie is on Prime right now. I was hoping for something more serious and less woke. But I did enjoy that big fat dragon that was so fat it couldn't really fly and had to roll after the party. I have to admit I laughed pretty hard at that....and wasn't expecting it. lol
