I wish FPV car racing was a more serious thing. I'd love to see a RC car with actual quality parts and an integrated caddx vista on a track driven by a professional. There is so much potential there!

Those goggles are basically the BetaFPV VR01 goggles (no longer available) iFlight sells the identical thing though, with upgraded lollipop antennas. That's the pair I have; they're great! This used to be a fairly typical model which several companies rebranded, but for some reason, they're pulling them off the shelf and replacing them with basic versions, stripped of all the features like DVR for the same price (Like the BetaFPV VR02 goggles ☹) It's cool though that this company is also rebranding them now! Do yourself a favour and buy these old style goggles. Much more bang for your buck 👍 -MMD

Heck yeah Steve!~ I have five cats, three dogs and a rabbit! Needless to say, I'm going to have a blast with this thing! Followed your Amazon link and they were offering a 30% off coupon, so it only came to $108 and then of course ordered the charger for $12 and some change. I put safety goggles over my glasses then the fpv kit on top with the band at full extention. Works great for me. Hope this helps.

I remember the first time my mate borrowed an oculus didn't know to put the filters in and wore his glasses.. and hfs he played for hooouuurrrss.. when he took them off he had what was essentially welding flash and his face was red as a tomato .. his eyes were cooked... Never wore his glasses to play it ever again

Another great review - can you change the channel that the car, RC, and video are on? i.e. if I bought 2 cars, how do i change one to be on a different channel? Or is it locked with the car color?

Hello, I have a difficult question about camera drones: having reviewed a lot of drones, do you know of any alternative to DJI for shooting 360 panoramas? I'd love to try that out, but without the DJI prices... 😅

Lots of drone cameras do the 360 thing (shooting multiple photos), however not all of them stitch the photos together and many expect you to do that yourself using your own software. Also, even the lowest priced camera drone can do a 360 photo if you do it yourself. Manually Point in one direction take a photo, move to another direction take a photo, etc, then stitch them all together yourself. DJI is a company that tries to keep things simple for beginners, which is why their drone software stitches everything together for you.

You can use the goggles with pretty much any FPV device (drones, planes, tanks, cars, trucks, etc). Yes it will connect to anything FPV.

I found out that the FPV range is must shorter in cars than in planes. It explains why we have so many fpv planes/drones but so few fpv cars.

Yes, very difficult for anything on the ground to send out a long distance signal due to all the objects that block the signal.

so the link for the diatone doesn't load is it reliable? also I heard you say that you can own up to 4 with their own channel frequency but can you have one headset and one remote and just purchase the car alone? (as in purchase a full bundle on their website and for the next purchase just a car alone?)

There should not be since in the FPV hobby that is ANALOG (which this is), everyone can select their own channel.

@@signature.content1317 Odd, channel locking is never in FPV goggles, but always in the video transmitter. Are you sure you read that correctly?

On the goggle you can record the sound but there is no sound on the video, even when turned on. My unit is faulty or the camera doesnt have a mic ? Thanks.

@@CAPTAINDRONE798 because it's written in the manual... In the menu you can adjust the volume. There is a headphone logo on the goggles 🤷. I thought the camera had a mic, it would make sense to me.

@@fruitycoconut normally all FPV cameras are mute because they are used on FPV drones and all you’d hear is the motors. If audio had been added then you’d hear the gears of the car when you play the file on your computer. Audio Jack on the goggles is for when your watching a video with audio which could be coming from another video source.

If it is on, then the battery depletes. It is not designed to be plugged in to a charger and working at the same time.
