I went with the Q3 because IMO the styling and interior seems more modern to me. I love the dash!

I prefer the dash board of the Q3 than the Q5. I don’t like that screen sticking out on the Q5 it looks awful. Q3 is way way better.

I don't agree. The Q3 vents are right in your face. I would rather have the screen there than the open wound vents. Many other manufacturers also do the same (screen up higher and outside of the dash).

The Q3 is better in looks! They really made it enticing. I like it better than the Q5 in EVERY ASPECT!!

Audi Q5 ordered at the beginning of February 2021 S.Line Plus trim (Italian market) should arrive at the end of September… .. Congratulations excellent review of the two Q.👏👏

The car arrived in November, after 9 months of waiting ....... It is very beautiful and drives well, but compared to my old A4 Allroad B9 from 2017 I notice a slight constructive decline in terms of harder internal plastics than the A4 I also noticed that the internal colored led lights are less than the B9. Is it worth it given the 66,000 euros paid out?

@@andersonm6493 Depends on what ride quality you are looking for. The Q5 has a more luxurious ride, seeing that you can get a SQ5 if you want BMW like performance. I went with the Q5 because I already have a sports package A4 and this will be my "family" car with the wife for traveling and a great ride. We rented one for a week and she loved it. They are pretty fast for a crossover too. Premium Plus is the way to go for best deal. The Merc has some pluses and minuses. The problem with asking online here is the fanboys will make you think you got junk if you didn't buy their brand, but all German vehicles are nice imo. I prefer them over Japanese but ymmv.

The Audi Q3 is better overall. First off, I hate that they placed the Audi q5’s screen as an afterthought and it seems smaller. Plus, it’s just slightly larger. Therefore, I personally think the Audi Q3 wins. Side note: I am so excited for my Audi Q3 to arrive! I got a dark blue exterior, with a brown leather interior

Q3 is better, for 2022. But q5 next year should get a massive re design, its bigger so make everything bigger add different colors i guess or make the body different . But the q3 should have the same shit just smaller obviously and start pushin out 350 hp

I think the Q3 is going to get nerfed after the 2022. It looks amazing, aggressive as hell, decently big. I think this version of the q3 is going to eat into q5 sales so the future models may not be that good looking

From experience I can tell you that there is a huge difference when you are driving the vehicles. The Q5 is a real Audi while the Q3 is an upgraded VW. There is a big difference in handling, power, braking, smooth ride, soundproofing and comfort.

@@dannyburkett3583 Not sure what they’re thinking. I was shocked at how different they are. The driveline of the Q3 feels 20 years behind the Q5. I do think the Q3 looks better. I got a Q3 as a loaner - expected to love it. Instead I was like wtf is this a Tiguan?

Lol that is not true... perhaps engine wise. However, acoustics, steering, interior quality and quality in general it is no where near A VW. This coming from a guy that drives a Q8 . I find the Q3 mini version of Q8. Only a hater would say that.

Great video !, does Audi ever make none black leather seats for Q5 ? I hate black leather, it gets so hot in summer. And is Audi Q5 will get bit bigger ? it's too small.

Thanks for the compliments! Yes, in Canada the Q5 is offered with Grey, Brown, and Beige seats as an alternative but usually has to be custom ordered. Q7 may be a better option for you!

The Front crash mitigation does not work (on my 2022 Audi Q3 with the Premium Plus Package including Pre-sense and Pre-sense Front crash and pedestrian mitigation). It does NOTHING to help you in the event of an upcoming crash! (Yes, I have it activated correctly.) I brought it back to the dealer and they said their "diagnostics" showed that everything was fine. After about 3 hours of arguing with the Salesman, the Service Manager, and the General Manager, their conclusion was that the Pre Sense and Pre Sense Front were only made to warn you and apply the brakes when you are A FEW INCHES away from whatever you are about to hit! The Subaru I traded in warned me at least 2 - 3 car lengths before and applied brakes at least 1 car length before. I set up rows of cheap Styrofoam ice chests in front of the car and tested the car at low speeds and higher speeds and my "warning" was a slight beep AFTER SMASHING THROUGH THE STYROFOAM (and the brakes never activated). Of course the dealer would not let me demonstrate this to them when I went back with the ice chests. I'm selling the POS and buying another Subaru.

Two different cars! RDX is much larger, so it depends quite a lot on what you put value in. Value in drive quality = Q3. Value in space = RDX

I also have the Q3 and it makes that same sound unfortunately. Also the windshield fluid doesn't dispense to the middle of the glass. It's still a nice car.

Not a single word about the power unit - are both engines and performance identical ?

Power units are both 2.0L turbocharged 4cyl’s! Q5 has a Mild Hybrid with roughly 260HP, Q3 is Non Hybrid and makes roughly 230HP. Because of the weight difference, performance is quite similar. I find 90% of my clients are concerned mainly with functionality, rather than statistics. Hence my focus, but thank you for the feedback, Nicholas!

The Q5 and Q3 are different engines and the Q5 has 261hp and 273 lb.-ft. @ 1,600RPM. 0-60 in 5.7. There is no 230HP Q5. The Q3 has the GTI engine 228hp and 258 lb.-ft. @ 4,100RPM "In our most recent test of a Q3, the Audi hit 60 in 7.8 seconds" Car and Driver. Big difference in torque max and 0 to 60. I think this guy is trying to blow smoke up your you know what.

Good question! We are not entirely sure. With Audi’s past tendency’s it would tell us every 7 years there’s a brand new interior. It was last done in 2017, so maybe 2024. Audi is leaning heavily on electrification, so they may extend the life of this model beyond the norm. It’s hard to know exactly!
