Former CF Moto/ Hysong mechanic here... Did the motor oil smell fishy? (EPA requires sealed containers for overseas transport, with petroleum oils) But crankcases filled with fish oil exempt. Keeps internal parts from rusting, while traveling across ocean... What you think you hear as a cam lobe hitting a lick, is most likely a rod bearing going out(drain/replace whatever oils in it immediately, oil filter to). Not if, but when you need new crankshaft assembly, there are 26 manufacturing plants across China producing these products, all using CF Moto name. ( timing marks, woodruff key slots, all different from all 26 manufacturers). You will have to align timing chain freehand, from crank to camshafts. Transmission gears metal (think Titanic metal quality) Soon you will find sliver metallic mash potatoes in oil pan (that was your gears grinding down) The 1000cc were nitrous for snapping camshafts. Did it come with a warranty 🤣 (silly question) If you align all 4 wheels, and correct brake pad from dragging, big improvement. Nothing is aligned from factory, just bolted together and shipped. Buy a couple of extra ignition switches, they fall apart, and stop working. Have never seen a CF Moto with more than 180 miles on it 🤔 Most places will sale you these with no credit check, at 28% interest... (it will probably be back in repair shop, before you make first payment) Most repair shops charge $115 per hour labor. I quit before I got shot by an irate customer, who figured out he bought a worthless money pit , made in China, at 28% interest. Parts? Remember the lead toy from China quarantine at seaports a few years ago ? Speed sensor Gear indicator (better grab extras) and don't forget to check they came with o-rings. Do they still make the winch with plastic gears on the inside ? Sometimes you can polish a turd and make it shine. This is one. Buy Japanese, best on market. Polaris balljoints are made of garbage.

Is it less expensive because you have to assemble it yourself ? Pretty sure I saw a can am delivery and they cut a few straps and the thing popped up ready to go . JS

Hey man, please don't take offense because I'm just asking. Until a year ago I was designing performance parts for SxS's for a pretty big aftermarket company. I had a few requests to make some things for CFMoto but we don't have them where I live and just assumed they were Chinese junk so I never made anything for them. In your honest opinion, how do they compare to Can-Am, Polaris, Yamaha, Honda etc?

@CheifDuck1732 oh I'm sure it's about 60-70% of a NA RZR 1000. Wouldn't buy one myself because I could never trust Chinese reliability but would like to try one out and see how it goes. Some people can't afford a $20K and up machine so it'd be nice if these were truly good machines.

@@spencersmith4174 try one bro. I’ve ridden can am Polaris Honda. And for what U get price wise there’s no comparison. I’ve had a 2019 600 outdoor kept for 4yrs now. And it starts up and runs flawlessly. Winch USB ports all lights still run. I’ve submerged it in mud and rolled down Rocky terrain. It fires up and runs. My buddies Suzuki has cost him over $1500 in maintenance in 3 yrs and he has half the miles and hrs. Not to mention I use mine on a farm. I wouldn’t are they’re faster more powerful ones… absolutely but when it come to dependability and reliability. Nothing bud beating these machines. I could have bought 2 of these for the price of 1 can am outfitted with what’s on mine. 🤷🏾‍♂️ thinking of buying another this yr. I’ll post a video later today. It’s being rained in right now. $350 on maintenance in 4yrs oil change and rear brake spring. That’s it.

A friend of mine brought his CF motot 1000 (different model) to the trails and it kept up with everything it went through. As long as the companys warranty is a good one , i would buy one.
