congrats bro I've had mine for over a year now still loving it. The install itself was relatively easy I would just suggest that you have someone else lend you a hand or grab painters' tape to help hold the lip in place.

I honestly haven't heard about them. I'll look into them but from my understanding if you go with Infiniti intakes, they won't affect your warranty.

No, it's real carbon fiber but they do sell one that's painted carbon fiber.

Did you buy another one that's carbon fiber. I figure if this one fly off, I'm done the next one will be some abs plastic from amazon.
