There is a light and airy feel, with floor to ceiling windows. Large circular benches, similar to those in the Los Angeles lounge, look trendy, although in practice tend to emphasise elbow room over comfort

My wife & I were privileged to experience Qantas domestic business lounges at Melbourne earlier in the year and were really impressed especially when compared to Qantas international lounge at Sydney. In fact better than any of the lounges we experienced that whole trip except Al Mourjan at Doha. I was disappointed in comparison by the Emirates 1st at DXB. I know Qantas gets some stick for its service but the domestic business at Melbourne and Brisbane were solid offerings.

It's a nice lounge, although the old design that split the views between the Business and Club lounges was better.

Have to disagree with the comment along the lines that the lounge is often empty / always plenty of space. As a fairly regular QF flyer out of MEL, this lounge can get very full.. and even at non peak times, such as early afternoon, it can often be fairly busy. This review (good btw) seems to have been taken later in the evening with yes, not msny pax, but it is often far more busy... The morning queue for the barista coffee can sometimes be long(but they make good coffee pretty quickly!)

It's scheduled for publication next Tuesday - I need to do a re-edit and mixdown, as there is an error in a couple of the titles. But I'd got the MEL lounge done, so published as soon as it was ready!
