I’m French. Every time I go to Australia, my heart calms down by 10 beats a minute. And in Perth? Even slower. In the outback, the smell and the flies, the sun and the stars... Thank goodness! I thought they had forgot the I still call Australia home, it’s nice that they restored that version. The 2000s-2010s part was so pleasant and nostalgic, even only being 10 years ago. Qantas MUST use that song in every safety video.

@@DarkFalconAnimations you flew a long flight aswell, same as me I took a flight from Sydney to Los Angeles which is 14 hours and another 4 hour flight from Los Angeles to New York so a total of 18 hours, I flew for nearly 24 hours, plus like 1 or 2 hours in La waiting for my flight.

Qantas since years ago has connection with the Aboriginal community. They have the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Programme. They also have preserved lots of Aboriginal artwork, i.e. their plane liveries, which usually ends with _Dreaming._

My goodness, I'm a 31 year old American and a pilot in training. I've very seldom felt this way but watching this video was an almost spiritual and emotional experience for me. I have always loved Qantas and Australia even though I've never been there and never yet flown on one of their flights.

I am a migrant from Ceylon, Sri Lanka who lived in the UK before migrating to this wonderful land Australia. I have denounced all other citizenships and carry a proud Australian passport. And I'm proud to say I fly Qantas. when I board that plane with the Kangaroo on its tail I know "It feels like home..it is home and yes I do call Australia home." When i was on my way back home to the US on a Qantas flight BNE-LAX in Nov 2022 and heard the “I Still Call Australia Home” song from 7:58 onwards i almost became emotional and wanted to cry and im not even Australian. Australia was such a beautiful and lovely country to visit for a long holiday and i really did feel right at home during my time there. This song and the feelings it evoked in me are a true testament to that 🇺🇸❤️🇦🇺

They featured the 747! Which is my favorite aircraft. I flew two of their 747s in 2019. Qantas was amazing. They even gave me a private tour of the aircraft, seated me in the upper deck for landing and let me tour the cockpit after. I enjoyed it so much that I filmed the entire experience 😁

I was in the flight with Victor QF38 (@5:05 , 3/3/2020) where we had to turned back to Singapore, he was the one that made the pager call to the captain about the mechanical malfunction while we were in the air. Thank you Victor! Sure is Qantas took care of our safety and our wellbeing even waiting for the next flight out to Melbourne!

I love how christmas adverts and flight safety videos are literally mini films.

It's not just any safety video, but it's also a mini documentary showing the history of Qantas throughout the years from the Roaring 20s, to the Golden age, to the Modern day. Also, when "I still call Australia home" plays, the aircraft in the background shows a 787 instead of the previous 747 in older ads to make this throwback commercial more modern.

Well done, Qantas! I love how you can kind of notice that the “I still Call Australia Home” is played 5-6 times throughout the video, each in different styles of music! I love that concept!
