May not be really true. Narrations mentioned that Ali bin Alhussain bin Ali bin Abi Taleb had a recitation that whoever passes by him might fall because of voice's beautiness.

nop, it's the style, u can say he was a popular one, but it was something that always existed (the style of recital), familiar with the Qaris in Egypt, SubhanAllaah.
