Well, she is Malayali. Hindi is pretty easy for us to learn. Malayalis don't have a problem learning Hindi, unlike Tamils. I'd be more impressed if a "North Indian" learned Malayalam.

DesiApsara26 well they (north indians)cant speak malayalam at all even though they try really hard.Some could may imitate the words as shreya ghoshal does ,even though she cant understand a single world in Malayalam.

First of all to Bolly wood bhai, I appreciate the openness in giving kudos to people or artists irrespective of where they belong to, we all shud be 'one' in that way..And that guy who came here boasting or challenging was more for its fun side I guess, but was not required though which I also think, though they wrote nothing offensive. See I don't know if u girls or guys shud take my piece of advice here, Every state has its own beauty and charm with respect to its culture, language and diversity. And being a malayalee myself, I really love Hindi langauage and had put in effort to even learn that not cause it's our official language or something, just for its Beauty..So embrace everything in its right sense guys..And even if someone pokes at u for nothing, we shud not be fighting here..We should set good examples for other nations being true Indian for its beautiful cultural diversity.
