Qatar's emir says blockade has damaged the GCC's reputation

5 жыл бұрынLeaders from the Middle East have been speaking in New York at the UN General Assembly, trying to draw the world's attention to problems affecting their region.
The GCC crisis, the wars in Syria and Yemen and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict were among the issues raised.
Qatar's leader, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, said the blockade on Qatar has harmed the reputation of the GCC countries and the ensuing paralysis has reflected negatively on the Council's aspired role towards regional and global issues.
Al Jazeera's Hashem Ahelbarra reports from the UN.

@Mehmood Ahmad turks always blame usa, germany, greece for the problems turks themselves created, if these countries are so bad then why turky is still member of nato and turks still wanted to be part of European union, why not erdogan give visa free access to somalis, pakistanis and Bangladeshis all of who are dying to come turkey and erdogan should make a new alliance with these nations. It may satisfy the ego of erdogan. Turks can have peace for centuries, if they just make peace with kurds and greeks.

Qatar is forgetting 2 things gcc has lots of countries agreed that they cannot mediate with Iran on purpose of achieving more money, as people of gcc have been killed and threathened by iranian allies, the rest is rediclous aljazeera closement etc. Houthis destroyed a base of Saudi with an advanced air technology.. In the end Houthi is own and Iran is own, and bussiness very interesting might be looked at. Also Pakistan is also dealilng with Iran in bussiness I dont know whats problem with it..

The only thing that we have in common btw Arabs and Somalis is the religion, we have same religion and same culture. Here in Somalia you can find many people ethnically have Arab roots or from there. The last time democracy work was in ancient Athens when they had direct democracy and citizens expelled their leaders from the city-state. You don't like the political system or politicians you vote them out of your country and exile them. Monarchs will say anything to stay in power.

If the Palestinians want an INDEPENDENT state. They'd have to wait till the Far-Right Likud party loses power and the Liberal labour comes in. An independent state with 1967 border was offered to the PLO in 2008 by the Labour party. Abbas rejected the offer.

So much for Qatari propaganda. Indian and foreign workers have been treated horribly by Qatar for decades. It recently has granted some rights but they are pretty much useless. Qatar is treated the same way any autocratic regime treats its ally. This should not be surprising to anyone. End of the day, Qataris will do well economically and financially.

Qatar will strive better and better from this and force to diversify. Still the most rich nation on earth ! Not a problem what the other countries from blockade do ( in fact all of them doing so bad now : Saudia in the brink of a collapse payments , dubai just get loan from Abu Dabi side falling apart. Oman shaking. Bahrain also doing bad and bad day by day and it’s not countable for Qatar power even. Egypt shaking but they will survive better than the others ....
