I don't understand why people are not getting what's going on with the team. Do you still believe Branden cannot provide a freekick to the box? Do you still believe Liston or Sahal cannot make some good runs? Do you still believe Thappa cannot manage the midfield? No, they are not playing. They just don't want to play. Reasons: 1, High paid on ISL clubs We all know that Indian National team players are not highly paid paid when they represent India, compare to other sports. And they're highly paid in ISL clubs. So they don't want to give their 100% effort to the national team games. 2, Fear of loosing the Career Last year in Kings cup Ashik Kurniyan got ACL injury. We're in rise in the football game till then, winning many matches, trophies etc. but all of sudden players forgot to play when it's come to national team... how? why? Since the injury of Kurniyan the AIFF did nothing to check his condition, they send him back to India. When he came back MBSG found of he is having a serious injury, hence he lost his 1 ISL season. The club lost the money, club was furious. Now take this senario in real life. Imagine you're a professional in an IT company for example and getting paid 1 or 2 cr every year. But you've to valenteerly work with the govt for 10 or 20 k, that also no safety for your life, health, or medical security. And one your ex colleuge had seroius injury from there and the govt did nothing. You'll be still able to give your 100% ??? Now tell me should we still blame only the players?
