I'm glad your commenting on this a lot of youtubers are commenting on there videos that Samsung is limited on apps for the cover screen but yet since day one you can use any app with good lock but no one really mentions it

That’s primarily because Samsung didn’t mention it honestly. In general, Samsung drops the ball with promoting Good Lock. So many useful features banished to an app that people need to remind constantly it’s from Samsung. That’s because, Samsung doesn’t really want you to use anything and everything on the cover screen. Otherwise, this would be built into OneUI and advertised, not shuffled off to an app you have to get separately. Edit: it gives you the option, but hides it.

@auliamate I think it has more to do with the potential for apps to not format properly on the 720 x 750 cover display. Obviously, a lot of apps will work no problem, and 720p'ish is a high enough resolution, but if it's anything like the z fold, that square aspect ratio means some ui element will be unusable in certain apps. It's safer for samsung to restrict it by default rather than set you up with the expectation that everything is seemless. I believe if this form factor catches on. More apps will support it natively and it'll be a non issue eventually. Most apps want to be landscape, or portrait. That square shape means ui either gets cut off, or eats up too much screen space.

@@auliamate They may not advertised it (but they still make some of preview video, for some module like pentastic) because goodlock tends to be their experimental space before actualy putting some of goodlock feature on future One UI iterations. Example One UI 4 cannot minimize app by swiping on the edge of the screen but you can enabled it in multistar, and when you update to One UI 5, the swipe option will dissapear and multistar app will telling you to go advanced setting > labs menu instead

Yeah. Before I decided to buy the Z Flip5, I want to know from reviews on how durable the screen is (not the cover screen) and the whole device itself when I play games like Genshin Impact, Honkai Impact 3rd, Honkai: Star Rail and Super Mecha Champions.

@@Isaac-gh5ku I'm using Zflip4 since 9/2022 and play those games you mentioned (accept honkai impact). I don't have any issue so far, but due to battery capacity, it doesn't last long. That's a bit annoying for me. For the the phone itseft, I dropped more than 10 times (with a case ofc). Working just fine with a little scratch. I just replaced the cover recently because it had bubbles around the hinge. I guess that's why they included 1 time cover screen change with the samsung care, it bounds to be happen soon or later.

One payment app in India did not work.. from cover. It opens up but after scanning QR code the app gets messed up. Perhaps, app has to be tailor made for cover.. maybe true from other apps as well...

So I did this on my flipz6...however it doesn't work the same. I ended up removing the health widget then selecting the multistar on the cover screen, then the apps I select applied to the cover screen. Ty so much! I knew it had to be a way🫡☺️🤗🎉 love this ph!
