Skellige pirates have so much variety, but there are cards I never even considered playing until now. This deck has brutal control, frustrating tempo swings and precise consistency while sticking to the archetype's true roots. In this video I talk about card selection, reasoning and strategy before playing 4 games with live commentary for reference.

QC! Good to see you, man, hope you are well. That NG game blew my mind, how much pressure you were under and opponent just folded not wanting to spend more golds. Playing the Craic would have forced your pass. Close shave. Unreal performance by you bleeding with bronzes. Amazing deck, pirates really are quite fun, awesome stuff!

Always love playing pirates never loved playing against them lol great video as usual sir. Also a deck I would love to see if you want the show or play would be a shupe beast deck were you play compass as well and you can play corrupted flaminco twice seen it I few times look really good.

In game 2 you could've held abordage for last play hoping that you could damage something down and you would've only sacrificed 1 point on terror/used it to get bloodthirsty 2 as well.

I remember year ago when i start playing for a few months I met really crazy pirate Prevent unit on left receive damage + clash No one survive And that ship gain 50 armor and boom it boost up by 50 Now i still cant rember the cards name😢😅 Edit and the god damn defender

Smugglers need to go down to 3 power or up a provision IMO. So tired of seeing these swarm the board for so many points haha.

Must be a rank thing cause I haven’t seen them at all during the climb yet. At least you can play around them by killing ships.

@@Qcentoyou really can’t though- your ships had 15 armor this game. Pirates are dominating the ladder the closer you get to pro. It’s actually 1/2 to 1/3 matches

@er4din903 to beat this you need to win round 1, have a squirrel handy to banish a freya's blessing, force them to resurrect a ship so it has doomed in round 2, and use that 8p guy that banishes 4 power units (forgot his name) if you can do that during a round 2 bleed they will struggle in round 3

@@er4din903 So they’re running the 5p ships which generally come down early game/round or tutored off Fleet. There’s a good chance that the armour is low when played. If not though and the problem is as serious as everyone suggests we may need to look into an Offering tech, Muzzle, etc.

So i am new to the game and the made this deck using scraps. I have all the units but whenever i try to do it i am over -3 points for the deck. So i am forced to remove the dog knicker to accomodate and i am using one more abrodage in the deck. Can anyone tell me why i dont have that 3 provision

There is a monthly balance change and this deck got nerfed by 3 provisions. You’ll have to make small adjustments.

My brother in Christ, this deck is not underrated , everyone and their mother plays it rank 3-1 and even pro , i see it every day on the ladder and it s annoying af lemme tell you, smuglers to 3 power plsssss

Easy condition 10 points for 5p and 9 points for 5. A 5prov ship that can play for 11 power, pirates is like every other game on pro. Need a nerf

There's a kind of better deck than yours with Compass and Blaviken musicians by Dauren, i suppose. Everybody in pro doesn't have any 4 prov cards in their decks and compass gives more variety to the game

This version is actually OP in my opinion. It guarantees Compass pulls the "any legendary" and gives them an almost auto win. You need to 2-0 them or pretty much lose which is very difficult.

Idk, I really like the 4p’s here for synergy and it gives me room to include the top end I want. Compass would be good for a flex option but most of the time you’re selecting the same few cards anyways.

@@Qcentocompass can play fucusya for you if you don’t bring her yourself. Or scenario. You’re cheating by provisions with compass and get to draw your perfect hand every game
