Have you ever been to Pilok? in Kanchanaburi as well. It is a small village in the valley. Must drive through the winding hills. The weather is great. If you are still in Kanchanaburi I recommend you to go Pilok. Have a good trip😄

Not Mong but Mon or Morn Bridge. Morn ethnics used to own a kingdom (Hongsawadee city state) opposite Kanchanaburi but was conquered by the Burman army of Tong-U city state from the north. And later the Tong-u army invaded Ayutthaya and succeeded and Ayutthaya was a vassal state for about 20 years before King Naresuan the Great liberated Ayutthaya, driving the Burmese out. Mong ethnics live in hilly areas in Northern Thailand, Laos and Southern China. Morn ethnics live on the plain like Ayutthaya folks.
