Instructions:
1. Rinse the rice thoroughly until the water runs clear, then soak it for an hour.
2. In a pot, add 2 Litre of milk
Bring it to a boil.
3. Crush the cardamom pods slightly and add them to the pot with saffron . Cook on medium flame for 15 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Blend the cooked rice coarsely, add it to the milk
5. In a blender, blend the bread and almonds.
6. Add milk powder and mix well, and simmer until you reach the desired consistency.
7. Finally, add the almonds and mix well.
10. Transfer the kheer to a serving dish, garnish with pistachios.
11. Allow the kheer to come to room temperature before refrigerating it.
12. Serve the Qissa Khawani Kheer chilled to enjoy its thick and creamy texture.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Rice
- 2 pieces white bread
- 2 litres Milk
- 5-6 Cardamom pods
- 1/2 cup Milk powder
- 1 cup of condensed milk
- 1/4 cup sliced Pistachios
- 1/3 cup grind Almonds
- Garnish with pistachios.
