I’m a New South Welshman born and bred, been living in Queensland for the last 13 years ( now back in NSW) - seen Queensland dominate Origin for too long. I saw up in Queensland what made a somewhat good team a great team. NSW for a long time never had that vibe. Tonight I saw that vibe finally! So proud! Of course I’ll be bias here and say our Parra boy Mitch was a standout player and should stay as NSW incumbent halfback for as long as he is playing well! Go the Blues

Ive seen Qld come back when the chips are down and wasn't feeling comfortable with 10 minutes to go but the NSW defence was the best i've seen in a long long time, nothing better going to bed with a NSW series win under the belt... Giddy Up

You were calling for Walsh and Holmes to be dropped all series. - You only won one game and it was 12 on 13. - NSW at least scored two tries on home turf when it was 12 on 13. You did not score a try on home soil with 13 on 13. - NSW understood origin and you didn’t ;)

Honestly nsw did so unexpectedly good that the ref tried to give maroons a penalty try 30 metres out cuz Luai turns his back 😂. Cherry Evans sulked around too much and ended up getting booed at his own home ground 😂. Seriously tho, all jokes aside, good game, great origin match. Queensland did play really well, had outstanding defence but the better team just won that night🥳. Good game. UP THE BLUES 🥳💙💙

Queensland and New South Wales were stupendous last night. The only real criticisms I have is gagai looked very old against Bradman best all night, and I was wondering when Billy would put ponga on for gagai but it never eventuated. Cobbo being to fatigued late in the game is really inexcusable he’s a star athlete and while his work out wide was good it was hardly nonstop. Conditioning is a problem. Especially when ponga went looking for a runner after a partial line break and cobbo over ran him and then just stood there instead of getting on side where he could have received a pass and had no one in front of him. DCE like gagai looked old last night. When the ball was knocked out of his hands by Angus Crichton, he was just hanging about neither running or passing. He didn’t have someone running on to it so his choices were throw the pass and make someone work or run himself. Doing neither allowed Chrichton to know the ball free when Queensland had ascendency. Felise kaufusi only playing 15 minutes is ridiculous. Queensland had a light bench in the forwards and for some reason he removed kaufusi after 15minutes and then played with essentially 1 forward 1 utility and 1 back on the bench. It’s little wonder that by 70th minute the blues took control the middles were absolutely exhausted. After that it was a magnificent game. Moses is to be commended he’s shown himself to be a great origin halfback luai is also sky rocketed in my estimations for his abilities.

Fatty is spot on. QLD defence was superb but their attack looked very clunky. Need to bring back Fifita and possibly consider Ponga at fullback.

Vautin's a dribbler NSW had QLD on the back foot for most of the game. NSW did a QLD on QLD wore them down and finished stronger. Qld made over a100 tackles more than NSW. Fatigued players don't often make breaks. Moses' kicking game kept NSW out of trouble.

Qld just dont get Origin. They just dont have that state spirit.

Slater picking his team based solely on personal opinion is going to hurt QLD. He clearly doesn't like David Fafita and has an unhealthy fixation on Reece Walsh. Walsh's speed doesn't compensate for his softness and lack of experience, as proven by his unimpressive performances in big games. For example, in last year's Grand Final, Walsh basically handed Cleary the winning try. Additionally, anyone watching the NRL this year would know that Reed Mahoney should be chosen over Harry Grant, who has played average all year. Mahoney is playing at his best, plus, he's an A-grade smart ass who consistently gets under the skin of key players, making him perfect for Origin.

On a side note why did QLD refuse to give Dearden the ball every time Dearden had the ball he made something happen Walsh, DCE, KP made nothing happen.

when NSW play in QLD they have to beat 13 men plus the ref. This is a mighty achievement from the lads.

As a Maroons supporter - we failed to generate any plays or dominance over the second and third game and only won the first because they were a man down. Walsh has been terrible this series and doesnt generate running plays. Bad series and poor selection from Billy

Ponga was a luxury we couldn't afford, Fifita would of been a better selection but in the end just not good enough
