What a freakin victory.. a shuffle of players.. green to 9, wagon to 6, d smith to lock.. walker to centres. Proves Langer a clutch player and Bennet the supreme master coach.. Finally the passion and spirit of qld undeniable in origin..

Only reason he’s not the greatest fullback ever is he moved to 5/8 and the only reason he’s not the greatest 5/8 is he started at fullback. One of the greatest players ever

Langer to Lockyer....halfback to fullback out of the cannon from 5 meters out moving left to right. That play lives on in the Queensland playbook forever.

Great win, but this has to be Lockyer's worst ever game off the tee... can't believe how many he missed.

He wasn’t a great goal kicker. He had games where he nailed it. But his kicking average was 67% a long way behind greats like johns or elmasri or Reynolds.

@@troystaunton254 He made a lot of clutch kicks when a game was on the line from the sideline. He was one of those big moment type guys, including with the goalkicking, but yeah definitely not a sharpshooter in normal circumstances.
