Qlimax these days is nothing compared to this. I mean look at the effort put into this compared to nowadays. It's all focussed on 1 stage now instead of having the entire room full of different light shows etc, nowadays there isn't even strobe lights and the room stays lit the majority of the time which is not the point of an indoor party where it is supposed to be dark with lightshows

I'm not gonna say it was better before. Hardstyle has grown so much and DJs have gained so much experience in production. Nevertheless, old HS tracks have this special feeling that makes you wanna dance that it just unique. I would love to hear this im clubs rather than nowadays techno for example.
