David here. I've been a Journeyman Electrician for many years. I've worked on a lot of small service calls, and rewired a lot of old houses and mobile homes. But, I've worked on a coal fired power plant, and a lot of big commercial jobs - schools, banks, warehouses, office buildings, a mall, fire stations, Army Reserve Center, etc... The point is, I've seen a lot of people in construction trades - red iron erection, metal studs, concrete, block and brick layers, plumbers, all kinds of roof work, ceiling grid and acoustical tile installers, painters, fire and security alarm specialist, elevator installers, window and door installers, duck work, air conditioning and heating, and a lot of sheet rock installers and mudders, etc... I say all that to say this. It's a rare thing for me to see such great craftmanship as the gentleman in this video. Great job.

Thanks for sharing this. craftsmanship is exceptional and the willing to share the knowledge is beyond ethics. I will be considering a similar design for a home theater ceiling to hide HDMI and speaker wiring that is otherwise impossible to run since my ceiling's beams run parallel to the screen and hence running wires are close to impossible (ground floor of a double story building.) I am considering to extend this by implementing star lights into the recessed pentagons. I will be filming the process and will share it at some point in most probably a :).

Congratulations on your skill! Better to wear safety glasses especially when drilling. Eyes are very valuable possessions. So you can continue to pursue this noble activity.

You can, basically, make the whole structure on a table, and then lift it... Good art anyway, but you made this more complex than it is

This is DOPE! But, I have no idea why you wouldn't build it on the ground and then install it. It would save on materials, time and be way safe and more comfortable.
