Queens Park Rangers took on Stoke City at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium... QPR failed to make it four back-to-back wins!
Stoke took the lead in the 14th minute though Campbell, a single through split the R's back line. QPR had a chance in the second half to make it level, but Charlie Austin was unable to convert the chance from 12 yards out. Vrancic then went on to make it 2-0 to the Hatters, leaving West London with all 3 points, opportunity missed for Queens Park Rangers.

Stoke fan here, I think it was a very even game, we took our chances but Adam Davis had a fantastic game in goal

Stoke knew exactly what they were doing they had clearly done their homework. How many more times are we going to concede the same goal. The back 3 push up, i've got know problem with that, but then they switch off and let the striker bowl through the gap and unfortunately none of them have the pace to catch a pacy striker, and if your lacking in pace you are just going to have to read the game better. It's so annoying because i believe ultimately the defence is why we are going to come up a bit short this season. I hope i'm wrong.

Michael Oneill said he knew that there would be space with your back 3 pushing up and not the quickest , hence 1st goal.

Odubajo, Adomah and Wallace missing through injury totally screwed up the wing back system. Field who I like in central midfield is not a left wing back and it showed. Kakay was OK but he is a defender. Stoke had a game plan got the early goal and when penalty was saved they pushed on a bit and got the 2nd, on balance thought Stoke deserved win, but if that penalty was scored different game.

We should play 4-2-3-1 next game and if Warburton feels like the defence is more vulnerable then play ball and field in CM and give Johansen more attacking freedom

To be fair we had 9 shots on target and their goalie had a blinder, if Charlie could manage to take a decent penalty I think we could have gone on to win. But, Stoke played well and deserved their win, I think we’ve ridden our luck a fair bit this season and today our luck ran out.

Good analysis! Before the game I would have taken a draw. Wasn’t confident tbh. And it just didn’t go our way! I thought Kakay had a good game tbh. Didn’t really see many problems from him but agree he’s more RB than RWB. We were okay in the final third just with no final product! Field out of position and was quite obvious in my opinion. Unfortunately our defence are too attacking. Barbet lost possession too many times to count. Disappointed but that’s the championship. On to Monday!! Thanks Charlie

I'm not sure why Warbs didn't give Niko Hamalainen a shirt number and then he went out on loan for LA Galaxy which has now finished beacause the MLS season is over. He did really well on the loan and also got back into the starting 11 of a pretty decent Finnish national side. I don't think he can play in England until Jan so he's just on holiday AND NOW we have to play Sam fucking field at LB. Nobody has questioned Warbs about this as far as i'm aware of.

@@kianshayegan2947 Have you ever heard of a player improving? I bet you haven't seen him play since midway through last season. I agree he was a little shaky last season but he could probably take Wallace's place now. If you saw his recent games you'd know what I mean.

@@kianshayegan2947 Maybe 10 years ago. He played 90 mins vs Mbappe, Griezmann and Benzema a month ago and looked excellent. Was 0-0 until Finland decided to go all out attack with 15 mins left because they needed a win to qualify for the WC. Niko nearly got an assist against the bloody world cup champs but Pukki missed a sitter. I promise you if Warbs gives him a chance in Jan he'll make you look stupid.

Stokes keeper was key as all them corners and a penalty could not get past him rangers playing through and some good passes stokes defenders broke up any forward play and that was that missing key players clearly noticeable but still not an excuse at this level on to the next game and learn from this come on uuuurrrrrrsssss

4-3-3 didn’t work simple, we are missing key players which is an issue. I would not blame Charlie Austin for nothing today, our game plan didn’t work so let’s not blame individual players.

I think your very negative with your veiw saying we was very poor we have a lot of the team out and others playing in positions they have not played, Stoke was not the better side just look at the stats the reason they won cos we made to mistakes and they scored by them. They are a tall side and with the corners they got to them before us and that's why we had to revert to taken some short corners, and a lot of the game Stoke parked the bus and it was had to get the shots and when we did again we had a keeper that was playing one of his best games. The only thing I was thinking mw did not do and should have was to take field of keeping charlie on and bring grey on to put a 442 formation but it was just one of them days but I think we played better then you think.

Dozzell was dreadful what were you watching? Johansen was mostly poor as well. Midfield was non existant. No need to panic but easily worst performance of the season
