Second half goals from Paul Smyth and Chris Willock rewarded QPR with three points that, for the first time the end of September, has lifted Rangers from the relegation zone - for now.

Saturday was my first ever game at Loftus Road. I had a great time I'm 20 yrs old went alone but live fairly local. I hope to attend more games in the future & naturally make QPR friends along the way. As much as it was a great Saturday for me personally, sadly it was during a bad weekend for QPR off the pitch this weekend.🙄 RIP to Ollie (a very young QPR fan) & Stan Bowles (arguably the greatest ever QPR footballer). My thoughts are with their loved ones RIP💙🤍

Such a big win for both the table and the mindset. Those March fixtures look daunting but we are QPR and prefer playing the so-called better teams. Remember Burnley least year...UUURRRSS

Didn't think we win after being 1 0 down after 7 minutes but prove how far this time have approved under marti just wished we appointed him at the start of the season but big 3 points especially after hearing the sad news about stan bowles the greatest player to put on the qpr shirt

Just like on the night we paid homage to the Legend Terry Venables, we ironically had to win on the day we lost our Greatest Of All-Time Stanley Bowles! His era was in my best time watching QPR, and he was in the greatest ever team in the club's history. Rest in Power, Maverick ⚽️💙💐🤍⚽️

I was dreading the worst at HT thinking it was gonna be another Huddersfield where we'd even struggle to come away with a point let alone a win but great to see a hugely improved 2nd half performance. Both goals were brilliant, lovely buildup play from Willock to slot Smyth in, and an absolute screamer to win it. Willock is looking back to his best. Also really hope Chair is available for the upcoming games because we need him to stay up!

Great result, Willock making the gane look easy with his technique and balance , also Chair has been excellent. The left side is where it all use to happen, but Smyth Dunne and Willock created a lot on the right. Frey did well but I would like to see the return of Sincs. Tough month March , hopefully spring a surprise at Leicester, c'mon u rrs

Wow what a result! Terrible first 20 mins and HT subs were inspired. I notice that the manager like to sub anyone with bookings in the first half. Leicester next up - predict a tough score draw 🙏🤔⚽️

Yeah good point, I remember he took off players a lot in his first few games if they were booked. Not sure if now is the best or worst time to play Leicester!

@@HoopsaKZfaqIt is probably a good time to play Leicester - they have lost their last 2 games and we have won our last 2. When we played away at Ipswich who were flying at the time we had just lost at Millwall yet we went there and drew 0 - 0. Now, with our January signings we have a stronger team than then - lets be optimistic as we seem to play better against the top teams.

Interesting you mentioned Ryan Dilks jumping the gun on the chair story. The second tier podcast decided to delete my very measured comment yesterday explaining the chair situation and how it was another clearcut example (clear enough for most match officials even to see) that the likes of the Sun will post any old rubbish without so much as a quote from a source and try to pass it off as news. I dunno, maybe Dilks aspires to work for one such publication in the future.

Went to the bar at halftime genuinely thinking this is it, cancel the season, lost my voice when that second goal went in. However, asmir begovic needs to be moved on at the end of the season I think, great shotstopper, but his distribution is so suspect and it doesn’t suit this play it out the back that marti wants to play

Thanks for the review and thoughts, always good to hear but especially after such a game and that we’re out of the drop (for now!)! Of course Leicester will be a formidable force and we will surely lose, but I have more confidence going into this game than I did vs Rotherham!!

Just pleased we showed the guts to sort ourselves out in the second. Tough run in March but you never know (though Leicester may have some pent up anger to take out next weekend if they lose to Bournemouth in the cup 😬)

While games are undoubtedly running out Leicester is a free hit ….. the 3 homes games in March against WBA, Borough and Birmingham are key, Birmingham aside WBA & Borough still have playoff opportunities and won’t sit back..recently we have played better against teams who don’t sit in..
