I'm amazed by the incredible simplicity of this design using common steppers. It's so well packed together. Truly brilliant and well done!

Build it larger, rugged, add some heat resistant shields and this would be an awesome welding robot, and I am sure the price would be affordable, too.

Wow. That dashboard and workspace is AWESOME. How's your heat? I'm also using STM32 for a closed loop controller - with some home built linear motors. Controlling them w/ FOC, so curious if you're gonna use SVPWM w/ the upcoming BLDC build :) the footprint of your custom PCB is lovely. Jealous of your printer! Those look and sound like aluminum printed bones

I'm obsessed with this work, outstanding job 👏🏽 can I know how did you make the web application? did you use three.js? can you explain what technologies you used for the web application ? I wanna know more 😁 Thank you for sharing!
@user-ee6js5oh4nАй бұрын
Thanks for loving! Yes, i used three.js for all the 3d stuffs. It provides a lot of examples that can be easily integrated into my web application.

hello Tony Stark, try htd 3m belts and pulleys instead of 2gt, you can save money by 3d printing pulleys for this type of belt, htd3 pulley teeth's are bigger in comparison with 2gt which means can be 3d printed with good quality and precision, as a bonus htd belts can handle more load. have you tried to use ROS2 for your project?
@user-ee6js5oh4nАй бұрын
Thanks, that's a good suggestion! Indeed the 2gt pulleys are very expensive. No, I have not tried ROS2.

Bro you did it alone ? It's 🔥. Why did you connect two motors ? Was it for encoding ?
@user-ee6js5oh4nАй бұрын
I did not connect two motors, but I did connect motor to reduction gear (that may look like a motor?) to increase torque.
@Engr.FurqanShahidАй бұрын
@@user-ee6js5oh4n is you use any torque sensor ? and as in your video you drive the robot manually by your hand and your web robot is moving same, so how could you do this is you use the emf generated by steppe motors ?
@user-ee6js5oh4nАй бұрын
@@Engr.FurqanShahid I did not use torque sensor. I use a magnetic encoder (mt6816) that can read the augular position of the motor.

the problem with this design is it has no hands and does not even consider the need to place all the motors for the fingers into this design. You are just ignoring that part to your future detriment. This is called technical debt. A total redesign will be needed to even have hands later.
