Based on the Shogakukan award-winning manga of the same name, InuYasha follows Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old girl whose normal life ends when a demon drags her into a cursed well on the grounds of her family's Shinto shrine. Instead of hitting the bottom of the well, Kagome ends up 500 years in the past during Japan's violent Sengoku period with the demon's true target, a wish-granting jewel called the Shikon Jewel, reborn inside of her.
After a battle with a revived demon accidentally causes the sacred jewel to shatter, Kagome enlists the help of a young hybrid dog-demon/human named Inuyasha to help her collect the shards and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Joining Kagome and Inuyasha on their quest are the orphan fox-demon Shippo, the intelligent monk Miroku, and the lethal demon slayer Sango. Together, they must set aside their differences and work together to find the power granting shards spread across feudal Japan and deal with the threats that arise.

I hope they would make a Series about Inuyasha and Kikyo. Like how Inuyasha lived as a demon like his brother Sesshomaru and how Kikyo changed him. And the story of Inuyasha's parents and his first encounter with his half brother Sesshomaru and why they hated each other. Though the saddest part of it is that we already know the tragic ending but it would still be a great series.

omg yeah, inuyasha and kikyo deserved to be together (with kagome too tbh, all three of them should kiss) , its so sad that they just kick kikyo away to die 😭

I want inuyasha and kikyo but no kagome, miroku and sango, koga and ayame then entei the demon horse as team 1, sesshomaru, rin, jaken, kagura, kohaku as team 2, the band of seven as inuyasha's allies as team 3 to defeat Naraku and his incarnations. How's the idea of story ?

As the antihero of the series, Kikyo is the most fascinating character being split between life and death, past and present, love and hate, resentment and remorse. It’s one of the most complicated character made by Rumiko Takahashi in all of her works, and one of the saddest because at the end all the good ones find their way to happyness, while there is no future for her, although one may say her future is Kagome herself when the fragment of her soul still in Kikyo reunites in Kagome at the verg end.

The best moment to me was when Kaede was explaining to Inuyasha how a gravesite is necessary for the ones that remain to be reminded to feel hope in times of despair

I feel very sorry for kikyo , it was naraku who made all of this and framing inuyasha for kikyo's murder.

桔梗って生前は気高くて気は強そうだけど穏やかで優しい女性だったのに死人の姿では憎悪と嫉妬が全面に出て、すかした嫌な女って雰囲気になってるのが悲しいな 本来ならかごめみたいに慈愛の心に満ちてるんだろうけど(というかかごめの性格そのままな気がする)、かごめの魂の一部だけ取り込んだからそうなっちゃったのかな もっとも死人になってからも村人の治療したりして一応慈しみの心はあるみたいだし、豹変するのは犬夜叉、かごめ、奈落の誰かが絡む時だけなんだけど

@@aknkun1262 ホンマくそみたいな運命で幸せを尽く奪われてるから、ぶっちゃけ桔梗を嫌いになんてなれないし、怨念とか負の魂だけしかないのにあそこまで慈愛の心と愛情持ってるからな。怨念だけでもすごい慈愛に満ちてる人だから、本来は本当に素晴らしい人なんだと思う。

桔梗は生前の桔梗が持っていた犬夜叉に対する憎悪と恋の部分だけで構成されているからあんな感じなんだと思う。 かごめは桔梗が巫女というしがらみがなく育ったら、こんな感じになるよみたいな感じだと思う。 かごめは桔梗が持っていた慈悲深さと犬夜叉への愛を持っていると思う。桔梗の花言葉は「永遠の愛」。桔梗が犬夜叉を思う気持ちがかごめを戦国時代に引き寄せた。

I feel so sorry for Kikyo doesnt have a normal Life since she get the Shikono Tama.. she fights against Monsters.... and all she want was a normal Life with her beloved Inuyasha but that stupid Naraku killed her... many Times and her Soul cant rest..I like Kikyo very much...She died when she was 18... to young.. she doesnt deserve that Pain...

I have to admit, I always found the 'Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation' bit kind of unnecessary. I get it adds some tension and logic to the love triangle, but having Kikyo be an ex and Kagome a new love interest from the future would have worked as well, I think.

This adds layers of magic, resurrection, reincarnation, and the tragedy of angry souls that blindly seek retribution, all of which added depth, nuance, and amazing character growth to an already epic story. Resurrection was required, as sharing a soul with Kagome told an amazing story of how soulmates remain the same, no matter what body you inhabit. Kagome and Kikyo are different people, but both Inuyasha's soulmate.

Inuyasha and kikyo are the best lovers but kagome is the worst because telling sit commands like a slave that's the only thing made me mad 😡.

Lol she dint see him as a slave... plus first episode theres inuyasha was trying to run or grab her so she had to use the command as kaede told her oof there are times he sees her naked so she will say that to prevent or mad but that doesnt mean she treat him like a slave

i think cause kagome is still a kid, shes 15 and younger kids let their emotions show too easily 😭 that's why she tells him to sit a lot.. but i like inuyasha and kikyo a lot more too, i wish they ended up together again 💔 they deserve happiness

We all know that kikyo is the one that should actually be with inuyasha and Kagome has nothing to do with him It was her first love and her life when both were taken from her.she lives as a tragic character although she did nothing wrong and showed unlimited kindness and innocence She deserves to be the main character aslng

破魔の矢は、ゼルダのBotWで言うなら、古代兵装・矢に匹敵する威力だ。 古代兵装・矢はガノンに対して、偉大なる攻撃力があるのと同様、破魔の矢は妖怪に対して偉大な攻撃力を発揮する。 おまけに、妖気で汚された領域を浄化する作用も持つ。エヴァで言うA.T.フィールドの中和と同じだ。
