Quad lock is top quality but has a price. I have the old universal stick on mount and the wall mounts which I used and old incar windscreen holder and converted it to go in my car and one I screwed into the dash of my van. Over 3 years and no issued with the mounts or with the stick on coming off the phone case. Worth every penny.

The mount could do with a sticky pad underneath it to secure it as well just in case the rubbers snap.

I know this video is from several years ago but the reason the screen is not very responsive is because as you said you already had a screen protector on it and then you put the poncho on it. Right on Quadlocks site it says if you have another screen protector it might diminish the responsiveness of the screen.

phone touch screen sensitivity must be increased to use mud cover. works like a charm.

I fear are those rubber bands. How has it been for long term use? Just use some double sized tape underneath & zip tie?

No. The cover comes at an extra cost so just get the lock without it

Edokun90 they make a handlebar mount that attaches with an Allen bolt clamp like a Garmin mount that allows you to adjust the angle out front.

I dig this style of mount but I’m not a fan of zip ties as the only thing keeping this from getting stolen. Solution? Hose clamp o-rings. Rubber bands first, one wrap of electrical tape, o-rings. If someone is able to lift it, they deserve it. Lol

The best cellphone. Mount is the one that you make yourself. I used an existing LG cellphone. Case and attached phone and case directly to the headset cap

That’s a good tip, but I wouldn’t say it is the best mount
