my concern is the in-vehicle heat that may melt the adhesion. Malaysian hot + humid weather left a trail of disuse window car kit in my garage. i find the vent mount is the best option me

does the vent mount work with the mercedes vents? since is a hook and not a clamp?

Anyone had any experience with the dash adhesive mount ? Ireland here so sunshine aint a problem lol

Hey there!😄Thanks for checking in about our Adhesive Dash Mount. Our 3M™ adhesive is really strong and compatible with smooth, non-textured, non-porous surfaces. The recommended application temperature is 21ºC to 38ºC (70ºF to 100ºF) and not recommended to apply it below 10ºC (50ºF). @@Quad_Lock Awesome thanks for reply so fast. Got a BMW Grande Coupe so the dash in general is textured :/ Will check out any lower spots for mounting

I have the air-vent version, doesn't work. the Magnetics work, doesn't wirelessly charge the phone though. Also have the desk version, same issue. Tried adding a different magnetic ring still no good. Cant be the case because the wireless charger in the bike works just fine. If you want wireless charging don't waste you money on quadlock products

Just had a similar problem. What are you plugging the USB A end into? I had to buy the Quadlock USB to car adaptor as the USB adaptor I had it plugged into wouldn't allow enough power to the head. The phone would indicate it was charging when attaching it to the mount but wouldn't charge. As for the desk version having the same problem, you may need their USB to wall adaptor?

@@thebagdersarse5824 their desk product with all their cables and plugs doesn't work. I'm not sure buying anything else from quadlock is the answer

Can the adhesive circular pad be removed from dashboard if needed? If so how to do ot safety?

Yes, you can remove the Dash Pad disc. If you have access, apply some heat from a hairdryer or similar. This should allow you to gently peel away the product. The 3M tape should not leave any residue. As the 3M tape is a single-use adhesive and cannot be reused once removed 💙 Cheers - Isabelle
