Күн бұрынWhat's going on guys! TheValleyofAwesome here and welcome back (or welcome) to my channel for exploring all the capabilities of QuadraTrac I equipped Jeeps!
Not too long ago, my friends, cinemademsey, Russianbear001, and I went back to RAM Off Road Park, one of our most favorite places to off road here in Colorado! We went back here and I snagged these clips of my beloved Jeep Rocky, demonstrating her fierce underestimated QuadraTrac I AWD (yes, AWD not 4WD) system.
I apologize for all the wind noise in this video. It was really bad this day when we filmed :p
And since some people really hate music during off road videos, I decided to keep all original audio
***A note to my current subscribers and viewers: You'll all notice that Rocky does not have her red tow hooks in this video. The reason is because we shot these videos the day before actually installing her red tow hooks. From now on in future off road videos, you'll see Rocky with her super awesome red tow hooks ;)

This video is ancient hah. Yes, for street tires back then, it was still decent. Coming up on 10 years of ownership now with this Jeep. Now on a 5” Modified Superlift on proper All-Terrain 34’s w/ manually activated QuadraDrive II ELSD’s.

It's not the most extreme steep angled hill out there, but it's definitely enough to freak out a beginner 4Wheel Driver. Once again it's just one of those lame scenarios where cameras don't ever do justice :p

Was it an option to switch over to manual and keep it at the first gear?

in regards to the challenge of going up hill? Im curious because I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2012 and I would like to get as much knowledge as possible on what she is capable of. Thanks in advance. Appreciate the video.

So sorry for the late response. Yes, you can manually switch it to 1st gear and keep it that way

Lol, I wish, but I love my WK too much. Thought of maybe getting an XJ as a second car to have though. Only thing that scares me are the weak un's XJ's are known for when off roading hard with them 😳
