Even though... they dont own 1 bird. Ignore them. Your birds are treated very well, and, you see to their health. Your providing good food to children and others. Great job. Thank you for sharing.

My wife and I got 6 chickens last year (because we live in the city limits in the USA and are only allowed 6 chickens) and now we're going to get 24 quail and 3 or 4 rabbits to raise for the eggs and meat. Thank you so much for this video. It's great to see how many eggs you are getting every day and it's really awesome to know that it's helping to keep your community health and profitable! The soft shell lacks calcium and also it signifies that your quails doesnt acquire enough sunlight or vitamin D and also vitamin A. There are some aspect that your quail is fat which sometimes lead to produce several egg follicle.

For the cage. I agree to you about the high cage, I just wondering why not make the cage a bit more spacious for the quail ? To give them extra breathing room for space, also easier to clean the cage as well.
@7hilladelphia
@7hilladelphia 2 жыл бұрын
Quail rise up fast and strong if startled, breaking their necks but low ceiling cage prevents death. Otherwise make a 5ft high A frame cage or just a 5,6ft high cage they can soar up and safely come down or if a high cage, have things they can land on, up high
@ReynaxisSolutions
@ReynaxisSolutions 2 жыл бұрын
If you give them more space, they will have more legroom to roam around. They will spend energy that should be best reserved to laying eggs. The more energy they spend, the more they will eat. The more they eat because they are moving around, the more feeds you will buy. It's a bit unethical but that's just how things are.

Increasing side length also increases chances of eggs cracking before reaching the end of the slide, so basically the only option is less birds per cage, or invest in more cages.

That' s a great Idea but i also would go for maximum of 4 quail per Quadratmeter. Also add a sandbath and some hiding opportunities. Oh and don't forget this wire ground is not good for them their little feet get stuck use wood chips, ground or grass if you have the opportunity. If you offer them a happy life they can live up to 4-8 years. They will be very thankful and will give you in spring, summer and autumn everyday eggs. Hopefully it helps :)

Dexter, please find a way to add ventilation (hint: fans) to your animal housing. I have worked many years in commercial chicken houses and there was always large fans placed to cool the animals. They can die from heat prostration . They won't eat properly either. Don't get them too fat, as this also increases their body heat. I am trying to give you good hints. I am glad you are finding good success so far. Wish you the best.

And there are plenty of ways to feed their family like culling.. Since you really want to give them space.. Then there is also culling them.. Dont you think so..

@@AmpersandrascottPlus, a brand new cage takes time and money to do. I dont know if you notice, Philippines is a third world country. Not many things are available to us.. Feeds are expensive and plus the keep yourself, family and also to contribute to the hungry children in the Philippines. The Philippines is not like your country where you get everything conveniently. Secondly, Quails eggs only amount to a few coins unlike in abroad it cost 6-8$ for a few. Philippines is not like your "RICH" country. If you so want a brand new cage for them. Why not you spend one and send it to him.

@Kasaija Jimmy Please don't support this kind of cruelty. The birds don't deserve it. Do proper research and don't blindly follow persons who don't know what they are doing. Quails are naturally energetic and this is cruel.

Hello. I would like to suggests you to add some coarse sand or small Peebles to the feeds because birds naturally needs them to help digestion.

You make mass egg collecting look so easy and so fun ! I am new to raising quail , by accident really , I got two for my hunting dogs and I really enjoyed watching the quail in the pen and the noises they make , it’s soothing actually 😀 I’m looking forward to watching and learning from your tech tips!!!!!

@@eatmorebeef824 I just don't understand you. Quails are living things just like humans. I think it's okay to kill animals because they'll die at some point anyway, but then they should at least lead a good life and what this is is pure animal cruelty. There should be a maximum of 3 quails per 1 square meter. They also need a sand bath, hide and provide food that is always available, which is not difinitive. And the poor quail keep breaking their legs in this wire. So I really feel sorry for the quails.

Very informative ,,love your channel bro ...there are many quails roaming under the plant of our subdivision here mostly sa mga tanim ng mga halaman ,they really love being around in an invisible area ,so wider place is not their nature of living ..
