Hi I’m in the UK. Looking a buying a second hand bike it already has the locking clamp but the keys have been lost and seat is in locked position. I take it, it’s just a cast of loosening the clamp to remove the seat post battery and then follow your instructions to put a new locking clamp on.

You would need to get the clamp off of the bike. The key releases the lock. Once it is unlocked and loose, you should be able to pry the whole clamp off. You mention that you folded this bike and took it on the plane, how were you able to do that? I thought the battery would be prohibited on planes? Thanks!!

Eric, thanks for your Qualisports Dolphin bike videos. I too have a Dolphin and these vids are helpful. I have found the 'happy' place for my seat clamp adjustment for not allowing the seat post to move down. My only question for you is that don't you think your adjustment for the locking clamp at the end of the video is a little too tight? It looked like you really struggled to close it at the end. I know it is a very arbitrary adjustment, but wow. I would be a little weary of the plastic portion as well as the aluminum handle and the palm of my hand. Just a thought. Cheers, Chris

I would rather have it slightly tight. I turned it one turn towards the final adjustment so I know it is what works for me. The seat hasn't even budged down at all since.
