I love Kurt Fuller met him not too long ago. Love IHOP KC ever person I’ve ever met who has led in the prayer room Carries a real anointing to dwell in the presence of God and bring forth an atmosphere of His presence. I pray you guys persevere and continue to carry that anointing

Amen. By all means, the gifts can still be used. But you just can't lead if you dont have the character as outlined in 1 Tim, 2 Tim or Titus.

We get purity from Jesus. Romans 3:23-24. 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

One thing is to fall short and still be saved, another is to be disqualified from Pastoral leading according to the Bible yet being saved. Mike can repent but if he is truly repentant he needs to step down

I wish Mike could continue to teach us. That’s my prayer to God. I am so grateful to Mike’s past teachings. He has inspired me to love Jesus more than any other teacher. He is such a treasure to the body of Christ. He is such a faithful servant of God. He is a true lover of God. He has a beautiful heart. God will vindicate him one day. I honor him and I thank him very very much. I really wish he could continue to teach us, because then we will be inspired by him to love Jesus more. He really lives out the first commandment and his teachings are the best.

Agreed - when Jesus defined this type of sin in Matthew 6, he effectively prevented those now standing in judgement of Mike, of being able to do so righteously. The most effective solution may just be to move back to smaller congregations and house churches, as that prevents anyone from being elevated to a level where they become a target whose fall affects so many people.

Mike literally told girls that God told him that his wife was going to die soon and that he was to marry the girls. And you want him teaching you???

I got a target painted on my back when I was staff for saying things similar to what Mr Fuller said in this video, and ultimately was pushed off staff for it (only after first being subjected to 2 years of constantly arbitrarily moving goal posts for what would allow me to keep my job). I'd be open to discussing this experience with you, Fuller. Surely it would be valuable insight as many of those who did this to me are still with the organization and some have, as I hear it, recently been put into positions of great authority... Maybe not the best move.

I would suggest meeting with Mr. FULLER. And share your experience. Get some prayer for healing , if you have not. I UNDERSTAND being Hurt in a ministry. So Please dont let this past experience, keep you from growing in your gifts and relationship with the Lord. God Bless you, and I am so sorry for your bad experience. The Lord Is FAITHFUL, praying ALL the darkness is Exposed

If the plan they make going forward doesn't want to suffer a selection issue/survivorshio bias, talking with people like me who are actually willing to dialogue needs to be a part of the process or they will not be truly fixing their issues.

Does it match 1 Tim 3:2-7? Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full[a] respect. (If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church?) He must not be a recent convert, or he may become conceited and fall under the same judgment as the devil. He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into disgrace and into the devil’s trap.

Maybe it's only a " little" thing, that the whole church has to learn: the fear of the Lord and having a right heart. We can't learn this through teaching and a lot of training.

Jesus spoke directly about sheep without a good shepherd.. Paul wrote specifically about those seeking to govern the body of Christ. The gospel is the guide all the way through and the only way to move forward on a solid foundation. I want this generation to follow like the disciples Peter Paul James John even in disagreement show honor and humility leading to clarity of what the Holy Spirit wants in accordance with the will of God…Jesus whole mission fulfill. I know it is quite a shocking claim and you might think that the alleged victim has no reason to lie but that really just, well doesn’t prove anything. There seems to be some serious BS Surrounding this controversy and it is spreading like cancer.. (2Tim.2:17) And to think and speak like there is some kind of scientific- ABSOLUTE -exact evidence about relationships/feelings/circumstances over 20+ years ago?? @@fredkornis793 it is very important of us to not know the person. Many traumatic things can happen from nit jobs who are blinded by their feelings for Mike. What difference does it make to you if you know who Jane Doe is? Mike himself has said some of it is true. Why are so many people just wanting to sweep what he has done under the rug in the name of forgiveness? There is accountability even when forgivin. Leaders are held to a highet standard and that is biblical. The bible is black and white about it, not vague.

The allegations against him were presented to IHOPKC leaders on Oct. 24 by former leaders Dwayne Roberts, Wes Martin and Brian Kim. IHOPKC has identified five of eight alleged victims. Three of those five have publicly called the allegations lies, (read that slowly one more time) …a fourth has not wanted to communicate with IHOPKC’s attorney, and the fifth’s allegations relate to incidents that preceded IHOP founding 26 years ago. @@busterbarlow9094

And did you happen to read Dwayne Roberts response? There’s two sides to every story. Just because “Misty the blameless,” said it doesn’t mean it’s the full truth and motive. When we put people on a pedestal we can easily be misled. There are a lot of trustworthy people here at Ihop giving their stories and if it’s all true then Mike not only did these things 26 years ago but has been doing things as of recent. It’s best we wait for the unveiling than to assume Misty is the answer.

This is all sounding rational et al, on face value... but my question is: in a corporate church apparently as this one, are the board of directors and exec chair paid a salary or compensation plan? If so, how much in total for all compensation and expenses, etc.? Is there any annual itemized financial report released to public for transparency? I personally just enjoy listening to the 24 hr Worship music room, but wouldn't mind eventually giving a donation once and awhile to the church... but would wish to 1st look at the books of such a mega-organization before giving any sort of donation.

I guess I am naive or just do not want to admit that MB could be all the descriptions in the letter that Dwayne and 7 others ascribed to him. And than there are the voices saying similar words to the effect that they never saw him do any of those things since he was in the prayer room for x amount of hours. And if he did all those things why his wife didn’t leave him. Just so many unanswered questions. 😢

"Many are called, but few are chosen." Lots of people claim to be called by God for something, so you have to do the tests he mentioned to find out who has actually been chosen. Especially for positions at the top. No one ever says they have been called by God to clean toilets.

My observation is there is a culture of prayer before the Lord of hosts. Evolve is not the best choice of words. Words matter is crisis: mature, develop, grow, establish, correct, reform or transform is better. Great speech otherwise. I think Stuart said it best when he said there is not a book written on how to deal with such a crisis.

People don't understand that an anointment for God in service of Him and a personal relationship are 2 different things, yes in service like King Shaul this happened, he failed in a personal relationship with God and later God took his anointment away because Shaul misused it. When you don't take care of your personal relationship with God and embrace your anointment as your ministry that is powered by God's mission, that makes you fall. First personal relationship and after that ministry that is empowered by God. Leadership is raised by God and taken by God like Nebugadnessar did fall. There are a lot of examples in the Bible from this.
