@@naratem I can definitely give Stryker/Quan Chi a try! I’ve been labbing each kameo with Quan so it will probably end up in a video going over all kameos with Quan Chi.

You probably can, but I haven’t found a way to do it yet. Mainly because her armor has three hits, is insanely fast, and you need to do a 4th hit to get her out of the animation. So it’s quite difficult to actually pull it off even with Stryker. And if you want to do a bone cage setup with Stryker/Quan you get 3 hits max, so I’m still trying to lab that and figure it out. Hopefully we can find something!

I would also recommend PNDK&M: www.youtube.com/@PNDKM Ketchup is another pro Quan Chi main, and also has guides for the character and more. So you have some good options here, especially when it comes to learning Quan Chi!

@@blank4142 In terms of tier, I’d say in a casual tier list I’d put him as a low B (that’s being generous) or a high C. He definitely has a lot more now, and is a solid character. He still has some glaring issues though. Having low health, slow startups to his jab and down 1, armorable gaps in all his strings, and he still has some really bad match ups. The only thing I’d want them to change is either give him base health like the rest of the roster, or make his stand 1 and down 1, 7 frames and 8 frames respectively. But even with these downsides he’s still super solid, and can play the best keep out game in the whole roster.

I would say so! You can still do OTG’s with his earthquake, you can do some nasty armor setups by combining the armor assist with Quan Chi’s down forward 3. You can even do the same bone cage/armor break setup that I did with Sektor with Tremor instead! All you have to do is Tremor’s overhead rock toss assist and it works the same as Sektor’s rocket. So they’re still a very solid team.

Maybe, however Quan Chi didn’t really get any changes to his strings so everything is about the same except for everything I showed in this video. The next time I’ll go in depth with Quan Chi will be a video where I show how all kameos work with him!

I’m not usually one for tier lists, but if I had to put him somewhere for a casual tier list (since I don’t play in tournaments just due to them being hard to find) I’d put him as a mid tier character probably towards the middle of mid tier. He’s not the best, but he’s definitely not the worst now that he has stronger keep out and space control. He still has some REALLY bad match-ups, but I believe that there are a lot more characters that struggle more than he does in general. It also heavily depends on the kameos being used for both Quan Chi and the opponent, but in general I’d say he’s right in the middle. He’s just a very solid character!
