seguo le tue lessons a posteriori perche' ho gia vissuto a londra e non ci tornero' piu. cerco di ricordare come parlavo (tanta fatica e progressi lentissimi) . con ABOUT non ho mai sbagliato perche' si sente talemente tanto usare che e' veramente impossibile sbagliarlo. Poi quando studi la grammatica l'uso dell'about appare estremamente chiaro. Ma ripeto, about lo senti dire centinaia di voltee al giorno

Though I know how to use "about" the truth is, I didn't know all the connection to all those words . I was about to say "about' is an esasy word to use, and then the exlanation of Joe changed my mind. As always a great lesson. vivo prossimo al mare. vivo by the sea. Chiama il bambino e accanto o vicino la strada. Call the kid, he is standing by the street. My favorite episodes are the ones with Joe speaking a lot of Italian. like this one.

Hi John, great video as always! I’d add another use of by. I noticed you use by when you have to explain how to reach something or do something, for instance: You can live a good life by working harder! He climbed the wall by using a ladder. I hope I conveyed the message.

Hi Jo, thanks for your lessons. I'd like to ask you a question. Is there any specific difference between "We talked about the..." and "We spoke about the..."? The 1st sentence sounds, at least for me, like we just talked about smt but it was not so important meanwhile in the 2nd one we also talked about smt but the topic was much important. Am I wrong?
