Man. Everything Quantic touches is Gold. I don't even know WHAT he does exactly- which beats he makes, what he does in collaborations with all the artists he works with- all I know is artists team up with Quantic, and then they drop albums that are gems. Over and over and over.

Listening to Quantic since Mishaps Happening in 2004, loving all of his early works, followed him through all the Combos, Orchestras and Featurings. I observed him always staying true for himself and preserving his own style, yet he (like everyone else) constantly developed further and further. Especially loving THIS set now, which is totally suitable for a Club setup. Him combining the loop-based style of the early days and the overall tropical vibe of all his musical career is just mind blowing! Would love to hear this in an open air festival at 2 am in a sticky summer night

Man I was the biggest fan of Quantic with his older stuff. Then he went in to this Latin/Afro phase, I see he hasnt gotten out of. His Nu-Jazz/Downtempo stuff was magical. Come back old Quantic, come back!

I think 49:40 is a version of Magdalena Reprise - Quantic & Alice Russel, he then blends into the regular version of Magdalena so this is my best guess

Drum machine (“sequencer”) looks like a Roland TR-8S. Hard to see what’s in the eurorack synth case. I see a Pamela’s New Workout at the top left, that is probably also doing some sequencing duties, might be synced to the Roland. It also looks like he has a WMD performance mixer at the bottom. I’ve always had the itch to use a eurorack system as a fleshed our mixer/groovebox built around DJing, but this is my first time seeing someone really integrate it fully into a Dj setup for processing external tracks (and not just use it as an additional sound source / dub siren / drum machine). Big ups quantic!
