One of my favorite shows of all time, I cried so hard at the end of this series.

Love this part of the series, where the bartender questions Sam about traveling through time, and makes Sam realize how much good he has done.

I love how they brought back Bruce McGill for the final episode after he was in 1st

One theory i thought might be a possibility is maybe the bartender was a first contact of sorts with an extra dimensional being. Like interstellars teseract, the bar and inhabitants was a means of communication. Sam is a human that ascended beyond the 3 dimensional confinements of a human host body and became fluctuating quantum being. The bartender who has apparently been observing Sam, felt it necessary to inform him that he has the ability to control his leaps and always has. Which Sam immediately masters upon learning this and rights Al's past.

Sam is still out there leaping around fixing things in people’s lives because, on a subconscious level at least, that’s what he really wants. He’s the ultimate Boy Scout. If Ben Song ever finds him, he’ll learn the truth about leaping.

i remember this season and this episode. Quantum Leap season five episode 22 5x22 "Mirror Image" august 8 1953 this was the only episode he looked in the mirror and it was his own reflection in the mirror. when there was no one in the waiting room at project quantum leap Sam's colleagues in the future from the project they realized that he had no choice but to leap into himself. this was a very good episode it was awesome and epic it could have had a better ending though Sam should have leaped home at the end but this was still a very good episode regardless. "mirror image" is on my list of personal favorite's and favorite episode.

It's sad that Al thought that Sam was losing it. That's why he tells Sam that he would figure out a way to get him home.

If that bartender is God, then he needs to go back and write a better ending to Quantum Leap!

I love the show, they always reference GOD and It's All About Love of each other. Yes, I'm a Christian, that doesn't make a difference here. I think the whole theme is Loving Our Neighbors. what if sam actually was born as Als son ? I would think he could then be brought home ,

If i ben the showrunner? I would put Sam in this Series like the GMs in Half Life who he watching Ben and Addison inconspicuously and at the end everyone or ib only a few episodes Ben notices Sam but leaps every time when he tries to reach Sam. The last scene for the die Season 1 halftime would be that Ben leaping into a bar as he looks in the mirror he sees with shock eh has ist his own face agin and in a blink of an eye Sam appears behind him with a smiling in his face and says. "Oh Boy! Right?" The last picture is the namessig of this bar that says. Hell's Place.

why the hell do people hate season five so much it's a very good season. when people say it's bad or their were low ratings come on that's bs and bullshit 💩 💩💩💩 and they know it there were a lot of good episode's in season five. a season of a tv show is 22 episodes right half of a season is 12 episode's okay well out of quantum leap season five's 22 episodes more than half of the season was good. hell i'd say well over half and most of the episodes were good at least 15 or 16 of its 22 episodes. in another quantum leap video i said fourteen of its 22 episodes were good but that was only because i had forgot about the episodes a tale of two sweetie's and star light star bright. how can anybody say this was a bad season you had two three parter's and one two parter there's the Lee Harvey Oswald two parter The Evil Leaper trilogy the Trilogy three parter. you had at least sixteen awesome and epic episode's and at least six good episode's that were good but they weren't awesome or epic like the other sixteen they were just average and decent. here are the best 16 awesome and epic episode's of quantum leap season five Lee Harvey Oswald parts one and two October 6 1957 to November 22 1963 The Evil Leaper Trilogy "deliver us from evil" "return of the evil leaper" "revenge of the evil leaper" Trilogy Parts 1 2 and 3 "No where to run" "killing time" goodbye "norma jean" "the leap between the state's" "Memphis Melody" "Mirror Image" "a Tale Of Two Sweetie's" "Star Light Star Bright" those are all Sixteen of the most awesome and epic quantum leap episode's from the fifth season and the other six episode's were good but not awesome or epic i thought they were just "average" and "decent" that's all. so like i said before most keyword being here "most" of the episodes in season five were good i think the only bad one and one that sucked was the Dr Ruth episode. in 1993 when i was ten i think i liked it but looking back yeah you guy's are right that episode sucked. so what is there to hate about the fifth season how is it bad you got two three parter's one two parter 16 out of 22 really awesome episode's. in season's four and five they show you the future and you see the waiting room at Project Quantum Leap you got The Evil Leaper Trilogy you got Sam leaping "outside" his own lifetime in an episode and in the Series Finale Mirror Image he actually leaps in himself and for the first time in five years Sam actually See's his own Reflection in the "mirror." so how the hell does season five suck and is a bad season come on that's bs and bullshit and you know it. most people like me liked it and "the ratings" were there they were very high. season five is right up there with season four and their both equally good even if season four has the better theme song i don't care what anyone says every season is/was good period.
