They do that in Turkey 🇹🇷 to extend the cargo space in the back. There are lots of vans at the airport picking up passengers with luggages, that area in the back allowes the driver to put things on top of each other, not inside.

A very good video showing excellent craftsmanship and a very practical Design. It brought me back to 1977 when I started converting a brand new 77 GMC Vandura Short Box Van by cutting off the roof. I made my own raised Fibreglas Roof for it. It had a 2 Burner Stove, Sink, enclosed Toilet and Bunk Beds to sleep 4. When the family grew I removed the camping gear and eventually ended up with an 8-Seat Van by installing two Aircraft Bench Seats. We had it for over 22 Years.

That's amazing! Do you remember the price of the van when new? I loved those style vans back then. If I'm not mistaken, it was the same style as the Hardy Boys had in their series. 350ci motor?

Finally! Someone who sprays paint instead for rolling and brushing! Dude, I'm so sick of watching people do shitty paint jobs and so this was very satisfying ☺ Also, the length of the video and speed were exactly what I like. I can process everything you did and remember it and so lengthy videos aren't necessarily when highlighting a complete build. Totally enjoyed your build!

My heavens you must be an engineer of some high description and very good at maths. Your precision and attention to detail is brilliant. No bodge jobs and of the highest functional quality. Грандиозный объём работы! Всё замечательно, но есть нюанс. С таким утеплением уже при 0 градусов Цельсия автономный отопитель будет работать на пределе. А при отрицательных температурах выпадение конденсата на скрытых металлических поверхностях обеспечено. Так что только для положительных температур. И на потолок всё же лучше было бы что-то полегче.

Полости между ЮСБ и металом не используются никак, можно было бы их хотя бы теплоизолировать. Всё через чур угловатое, не сказал бы что это гениально.
