Yes. I feel it is worth the cost. By Thai hotel standards, it is expensive, but I have sometimes paid as much per day at a Holiday Inn Express in the states without all the wonderful meals.

The medical expenses are included in the price not just the room and the food.

@@TheCuriousFarang I won't consider ASQ unless they at least allow patio and pool access after the first negative test. ASQ is totally doable if I would have been by myself, but with a family that would be not worth the vacation afterwards. Thanks for the link tho!

@@TheCuriousFarangyes problem is I had allergic reactions against vaccines in the past so maybe I cant take it . Also it seems to me that many people have bad reaction because of this vaccines . In real it is also stupid because when someone have the vaccine he can stil carry the virus and give it to other people .

@@mangoapple7494 I did not know the model I have. It is about 1 year old. I am not versed in setting up an older model. The hotel also offers Google Chrome Casts for a low cost. Good luck getting things working.

@@TheCuriousFarang Thx. There are a few different models. It usually has model marked right on the bottom of unit. Because it's a year old, does not mean it's only been out for a year. I could just buy the latest model but unfortunately, with the way tech is... That does not mean it will do what a previous model does. I have original Roku & Roku 2 at the moment. If you get a chance to check, I'd appreciate it.. No worries, if not. God willing, we'll be able to get there March/April. Thx!

No. They do not go through bags, but personally, I would not try. If they do happen to catch you, they will report it to the government and it could impact all the work you did to get here. I like to have a drink too, but considered it a detox time.

Each airline has its own policies. I flew EVA. It was very good. I checked 2 large suit cases and had a carryon in the overhead and a personal bag under the seat.

The food was excellent. After the first covid test, it is served in the room with real plates and silverware. The presentations are very nice. After the second covid test, you can enjoy your meals riverside at the restaurant. The presentation and food are even better for those last three days. There is lots of variety, Thai and Western-style choices.

You have unlimited access to the balcony from day one. After the first covid test, you have 1.5 hours of time near the pool area on the river. After the first test, they also serve the food on real plates and silverware instead of plastic containers. I did not think this was a big deal but believe me, it makes you feel more human. After the second covid test, you can eat lunch and dinner at the riverside restaurant. This was the best part of the stay. The food and presentations were amazing, and it was easy to strike up conversations with other guests. Make sure you ask for a room with a garden view. The one side of the hotel faces a construction zone. I was in one of these rooms for the first day, and I asked if I could change. The room was nice, but it was not as pleasant to sit outside. The garden view in the video was peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend it.

I'm actually debating splurging for the huge riverfront suite, but the deluxe jr suite does seem like better value. Did you feel the room was big enough? Are there any negatives to choosing this resort, aside from the construction noise in some rooms?

@@mattlv2002 The room was plenty large enough for my needs. There were no negatives once I was moved to the other side of the building. The staff was very friendly and helpful during the entire stay. Good luck with your search and trip back to Thailand.

The internet was hit or miss. Some days it worked great and other days it seemed slow. I think it might have something to do with where your room is located. I talked to other people in the hotel and they said they did not have a problem.
