Pete is one of the the most underrated mc in the game. Pete’s Album with Daddy Rich is so dope, much better than Serch’s solo in my opinion
@carllouisyoung Жыл бұрын
You spit nothing but FACTS.. I was just listening to this album ALL DAY on repeat with my one year old daughter in my truck. You heard where the musical creativity from 3rd Bass came from on this album with him and Daddy Rich. If there was NO Pete, 3rd Bass would have never worked IMO. He balanced out Serch with his Jewish, white kid, yeah I am down and I have a Black girlfriend who has to be in all the video's overcompensation.

Yeah! It was mad underrated, but it had a classic underground NY sound, especially with Beatnuts behind the boards.

Pete nice solo work is still indamix getting play today... Shared on rotation W our grand puba remix project featuring kero one, scion dj winner dj platurn, omid walizadeh project blowed, influenced by intensity w jmd (pharcyde drummer), Australia celsius serek crew, radioinactive (shapeshifters) west coast scavengers, dj dday one, dj realm (lyrics born), cadence work (rip) raw produce, never ends... Petes suggestion of a documentary about white hip hop artists needs serious attention! Dantes down play of pete to pump brand nubians as better work is self hate! Race is ok; its not hate against others... We seek the truth of interdependence! Big up for all your wisdom and work pete! In 96 our crew built the first indoor skate park in our state w ryan simonetti which birthed stevo from jackass... Petes solo album was played daily waking folk up that came to the park (youths were still bumping his old group shit but they learned to kick the bobo by the end of the day!)

I have been a big fan of Third Bass also, from the beginning in fact. I guess as a duo, I wouldn't disagree with the comparison to Hall and Oates from the popular music genre. I would probably compare Pete and Serch to Michael McDonald. They were a great duo, though. We all probably should consider them a trio, with Daddy Rich, actually.

Glad to see Pete. Never seen your show but looks like you’re a good interviewer and have an agenda and made Pete follow it “keep it positive “ but seeing everyone trying to say shit and it’s over his face is wack. Don’t know your format usually. But that was distracting
