Quark is a fully modular minecraft mod with lots of small features, aimed at improving the vanilla game. Every feature can be turned on and off individually at your will, and most features contain further options to tweak the game just how you like it.
The mod adds features to the client, world generation, mobs, small tweaks, a lot of new blocks and more.

I would love to play this mod but I’m struggling with loading Forge on Prism. Can you explain how you managed to play this mod with the different versions of things such as Forge and Optifine?

Quark is already on Modrinth, and if 1.20.1 is outdated to you, do you think mod developers live in the fucking future? It takes time to port mods to the newest versions of Minecraft, let alone add new features, and that's not even considering the mod loader itself and dependency mods.
