I think it's brilliant that the perfumer uses the Pamplezest grapefruit material to bring out the brighter-citric-green facets of coniferous needles that are otherwise missing from the distilled pine/cypress/fir essential oils and absolutes. I do I agree with you that there seems to be a darker, mysterious energy here, especially in its dry down. I'm looking forward to interviewing Joseph on my channel in just a few days!

I was so fixated on the golden aspect of the scent, THAT place and holding onto THAT place for as long as possible in the composition, that I failed to see the dark side of the forest, so thank you for reminding me of the shadowy, fairy-tale aspect of our work, I appreciate it, Dariush, which I myself sometimes forget about! As roses have thorns, I suppose one has to transcend some "thicket" to get to the prize we portray. It's "protected". Sincerely hope all is well and thank you again!! This layers great with Quartanas Lily of the Valley. Really brings out the darker aspects. Love it, so uplifting and healing but not in a naieve way. You can't have light without the dark. 🌗

Thank you for this interesting review! It sounds indeed very different from what we have these days. I love the perfume's name and the idea behind it. Mysterious, enchanting forest...healing properties...that appeals to me without any doubt. I try to get my nose on it, seems to be quite difficult to smell Quartana's perfumes in France these days.

I love this fragrance. And I totaly agree it's not very easy to describe it. There are many intertwined elements and it changes over time as you wear it. I'm still trying to figure it out completely. Really really good release in my opinin. Definitely not for everyone, but I love it.

It's looking like a very green year thus far. This one does it all, like a green scents greatest hits album. French lover, in a pine forest, in Big Sur after the rain. Could easily be mud, but this is a very composed scent. This one will take some time to fully explore, so far all I know is I like very much. Speaking of green the new H24 has my eye, looking forward to your take.

Love the red sweater on you and the glasses , you look fabulous and with Madame P purring over this fascinating scent, makes for a lovely image .
