Antonsen sure is good at net shots, very cool. Lee Zii Jia just stood out a little bit but amazing plays from both players

LZJ played a different game plan with rallies and patience to strike hence it paid off handsomely!

Fantastic win over highly rated Antonsen. But it may have come at a cost. LZJ looked really sick, tired and injured towards the end of the match. Would be a miracle if he even get to recover and play the semis without retiring. Hope his team will make the right decision. Highest priority should be to stay injury-free before Olympics.

Nowdays Lzj gameplay seems more to control the court and less smash compared previous style with frequent smash 😅

0:33 amazing rally from Antonsen! He is all rounded player.. good at the front net, defense and smart strategy skills. his smash is good too but maybe a bit weaker than other top players.

lee zii jia didnt smash that much this game. he mostly cleared back to antonsen

I think it was a good idea. It effectively prevented LZJ from deploying his dangerous drive game. Besides, AA's defense was also superb and LZJ couldn't create many winning opportunities from AA's clears. AA lost mostly coz he made lots of unforced errors especially in 3rd game.

AA's defense is fantastic, LZJ can't just keep doing all out smashes against him and expect it to work. Biggest thing LZJ has on Antonsen is the drive game, which is why AA was playing a lot of clears.
