Quartz makes up about 12 percent of the land surface, so they say. Quartz is also made up of silicon and oxygen. If we did have a huge vapor canopy, which we did... it is easy to bridge the gap and see that quartz has a high probability of being here because of the huge trees that were here. All plant material releases some amount of silicon upon death. The oxygen levels during the vapour canopy period would have been much higher than today. So the mixture was there for it to occur due to a catastrophic event. Also, because each type of tree does indeed have a unique chemical makeup of sap, given the size of these trees, it is likely any silicon released from the tree would mix with the sap and in return provide a unique mix which would produce various crystals of all kinds under certain circumstances. Just to be clear... In this video I am NOT suggesting that ALL quartz originally began as sap. I have made numerous videos on the subject of what I took to calling #BIOGEOLOGY, and have presented my hypothesis that FAT, NERVE, DISC, LIGAMENT, TENDON, and even BLOOD PLASMA can ALSO petrify to quartz in varying forms. Stellium, it's kinda splitting hairs but I think many of what we're calling "trees" were more akin to vines. Specifically Devil's Tower is certainly structured more like a vine with vertical columns stacked alongside rather than rings within. Which would allow them to be more flexible like a rope. Mike - doesn't your Mont Go also have lots of quartz scattered around on it? My point is simply: even though sap can turn into quartz sometimes - that doesnt mean that all quartz is sap, nor that all sap turns into quartz. The reality of petrification and crystalization is much more complex and varied than that. Human flesh can turn to quartz too. Or any flesh. Or any other matter too. And sap can turn into amber, or agates or other crystals too. I personally think that anything at all liquid can become any kind of crystal. And as soon as one tried to make a neat theoretical formula or paradigm about it - one fails - because the reality is just so much more varied and complex than any human theory can summarise.
